An awful experience from start to finish. It took Haywards over 2 1/2 years to do a simple probate of one property and a few bank accounts. They are unbelievably slow at doing anything, several staff left during the process and their customer service is poor - if you don't chase them nothing seems to happen. The main delay of nearly a year was due to the property they were "looking after" having a burst pipe over winter (as they forgot to turn the water off) and it taking over 9 months to get it fixed. It has been a very stressful experience and never once did they offer any sort of apology or compensation. Would not recommend for probate services.

Locally, I have not met anybody yet who has a good word to say about Haywards for either conveyancing or probate. One to avoid I think!

A 2 bob bit shoddy company that doesn't always follow Practice Directions and will not accept their blame for such and will then pass the blame onto other parties for their wrong doings. A shoddy company that isn't interested in the wishes and feelings of a child.

If I could rate no stars I would, 1 star is far too generous. Do not use this firm to sell/ buy a property.

John Simpson was utterly useless. Do not go near. Wasted what little legal aid I had.
