I wouldn’t recommend this putter waste of money service . Their insightless nonchalance and dogmatic pursuance of the superficial words on a piece of paper law . Displays the lack of understanding ,appreciation of customers position and general sense of unawareness of circumstances that dishes out third rate law . No sense of priority lacks decisive remedial actions wastes a lot of time with a nonsense paper trail

Incompetent and unempathetic so called qualified lawyers/solicitors. No sense of urgency or priority over cases considering its nature. Feels as though you are dealing with glorified administrative staff instead - constantly having to chase them up on my end. Understand that there are many cases to deal with but huge lack of communication and contact from the beginning. Does not restore my faith within the legal system. AVOID JAMES MURRAY SOLICITORS AT ALL COSTS.

My son told me, last Friday, he was due in court on Monday and he didn’t have a brief. I called James Murray at 5pm , last Friday, and by Monday, at 11:14 am they had saved my son’s driving licence. Out of this world service. Would highly recommend

Absolute disgrace, elliot smallshaw was apparently dealing with my case for months. He made no progress and when I complained to jayne Thomas he accused me of being the one at fault because I missed his call, I then pointed out that I had called back twice within 20mins of his call to be told he was busy and would get back to me. I also called the next day and was told the same, I also sent 3 emails over the next few weeks. No answer to anything. The case was then turned over to Lee Massingham, he called me and said dont worry I am personally going to work on your case, give me 24-48hrs and I will get back to you with a plan on how to move forward that was 37 days ago. I have called, left voice messages and emailed several times to both Lee Massingham and jayne Thomas and have not had a single reply. I tried to go to another solicitor but when I explained what had happened they refuse the case. They say because James Murray have been "dealing" with the case for months it does not pass their risk assessment. Absolutely disgusting level of service, thankyou for destroying my chance to have my case heard.

After a little difficulty trying to find a solicitor who was open during the lockdown, I instructed this firm and they were great. When I went into their office, everything was safe and gels/ social distancing rules were all spot on. I also received some great advice which has saved me a lot of time and expense. Would highly recommend

Very reasonably priced and an excellent service. I would not hesitate to use them again. I was very impressed with the amount of preparation that went into my case, and the cost was fixed.. I also took up the option of a payment plan which spread the costs over several months. Both my wife and I would like to recommend this company.

Appalling no service from Christoan Sereni who is very happy to take your money and then never actually does anything g for it. Wish I had never met this bunch of crooks and charlatans...they made my release very difficult and recall inevitable
Avoid like the plague. Worst solicitors. Never write, never call back, really nothing good to say about them.

People should always be honest.

In my experience whilst in The Crown Court I lost everything despite being the victim.

Received brilliant help from a wonderful lawyer Mark Ellis . I felt confident that I was in very capable hands to navigate my legal issue. He was extremely helpful, and reassuring and I felt he was an excellent lawyer - both in his knowledge and advice, and in his practical help. He went out of his way to phone someone straight away and then gave me feedback. Exceptional and I cannot rate him highly enough.

I just want to say that this firm are wonderful. I didn’t know how to deal with my case until I spoke to them yesterday. Mark gave me so much of his time for free and I will be forever grateful. They are a caring, thoughtful team and they look after their clients. Thanks again or all of your kind assistance and thank you to the reception team who calmed my nerves and made me a lovely coffee.today I’m feeling so much better

Top service from a brilliant firm. I had a fixed budget which I couldn’t go over. I was honest from the start and told them what I could afford. They gave me a fixed price which was WITHIN my budget.... thanks again to The whole motoring team, particularly Emma and Mark who have been sensational. And, to top it all, I have won my case! Super job

I’m not one for placing my thoughts on review sites such as this but, having read one or two of the abusive messages, I felt I had to put the record straight. James Murray Solicitors and Mark Ellis in particular, are excellent. They can’t do enough for you and I am more than willing to vouch for them. I have recommended them to friends and family alike and I am more than willing to give them a full five stars! You can’t please all the people all the time, but they are certainly not corrupt. Keep going James Murray. Your decent clients know you really are the best!

As we all know. The British injustice system is corrupt to the core. James Murray solicitors are complicit in this corruption. Especially James Murray solicitor mark Ellis. They’re not on our side folks. You won’t get anywhere using this scumbag solicitors folks. Do yourselves a big favour. Give them a swerve. They’re not worth a carrot.

This solicitors are so bad. In particular mark Ellis and Jim Murray. They must have bought their qualifications off the internet. You’ve got no chance of getting justice if you hire these clowns. Do yourselves a favour and give these chumps a swerve.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my nephew who has instructed James Murray. He had never been in trouble before and needed a solicitor to help him. He had a number of motoring cases and the james Murray team were great. As a family we were sure he was going to be banned from driving. He walked out of court with just a few points and a small fine. Thank you to Mark and his team. Great firm, great result. Thank you from all our family

I went to james Murray solicitors as I didn't know which way to turn! I was facing a very difficult trial and it related to motoring offences. Mark Ellis represented me and was superb from start to finish. His approach to the case was so refreshing and his performance in court was nothing short of sensational. If you need a solicitor who will fight your corner, Mark is your man! I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Mark Ellis is corrupt. Jim Murray is corrupt. I award these two jokers the “ sir Craig Mackey white feather medal of cowardice” for dereliction of duty.
Don’t use this solicitor people.
Use a bag of dog poop instead.
You’ll have a much better chance of being acquitted that way.
These people are pure scum. May they rot in hell for all of eternity.

Mark Ellis is an excellent Solicitor. He gave me a substantial amount of time on the telephone without wanting money. He has morals, experience and kindness.

I would recommend James Murray especially with Mark Ellis to anyone in need of an extremely good Solicitor.

I would give no stars if possible. This solicitors is rubbish. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Mark Ellis was my solicitor and I would describe him as weak spineless and about as much use as a wet towel.he is the duty solicitor for Sefton magistrate court but he didn't let me know this before I used him. If he had I would have went elsewhere as I would have suspected the duty solicitor would be in bed with the courts and the police. Of which I am now certain that he is in my mind corrupt. Jim Murray the senior partner didn't even entertain my complaint as he told me he is good friends with Ellis.
I am complaining and reporting the company to the legal ombudsman. Although Murray tells me he knows them well. So there will probably be another matey cover up. I will report back on this but as we all know these scummy people tend to stick together so not very hopeful. Don't throw your money away using this worthless solicitors. Try to find someone else who is good. And good luck.

This Rubbish solicitors doesn't even deserve 1 star. Bad advice and terrible performance in court by Mark Ellis. He Refused to write me a letter to correct a false publication in a newspaper unless I pay them £100 after pocketing loads of legal aid and knowing I'm on benefits and living in poverty.
Made a complaint to senior partner Jim Murray who just fobbed me off. Which I presumed he would do. Making a complaint about the company to legal ombudsman now. I will update on this.
I would definitely not recommend this solicitor. You might as well just burn your money and plead guilty for all the good they will do you. NEVER AGAIN. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I have spent several thousands of pounds with this firm on behalf of my daughter in a family matter. Trying to get hold of Callum, the solicitor dealing with her case has been almost impossible and this week despite several messages left for him he has yet again not called her back. She has already had a major cock up in this case when the barrister appointed by James Murray Solicitors did not turn up resulting in a further delay in getting access to her children of several months. We have had no offer of compensation nor reduction in fees charged despite this serious issue. Now that her ex partner is breaching the court order after only 2 access visits and she needs further advise in enforcing it we cannot get any response from them.
I will be taking legal advice elsewhere about how I can take action against James Murray, and her ex

I needed a solicitor urgently and phoned James Murray after looking up their details in the Yellow Pages. From the initial contact with my lawyer, to representation in court by a barrister, the service they provided was excellent. Their professional attitude and realism made my experience much less traumatic than I had feared. The sound advice and outstanding representation ensured I am at liberty today. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this law firm and even though I have moved away from Liverpool, should I ever need a solicitor in the future, I will call their number

James Murray Solicitors were recommended to me when I split from my husband. Terrified and unsure what my options were, I was assigned Lorraine Fletcher as my family law solicitor. She was excellent. Her support and gentle nature was exactly what I needed. She worked with me to overcome all the obstacles and was open and honest about costs. I would highly recommend Lorraine for everything she done to help me

We had felt abandoned by the English legal system for so long that we did not really hold out any hope for an acquittal. You did a sterling job and I never felt for one second that you and your law practice were not behind my cause 100 per cent.
