I used Jenny Buchanan some time ago, I was not aware that I could place a review anywhere at the time. I went to her simply to seek some advice as to what was a fair course of action for resolution. She was very "pleasant" and managed to keep 'hooking me in' and dragging the case out for almost a year, I hate to say she completely duped me, I thought I was smart and savvy, but she knew the exact steps to keep you returning for just one more visit, right to the point of involving a top barrister, who was completely rubbish, in the sense she clearly had not read the case notes and when there was a hearing she was unable to respond or put forward very obvious answers to support my case. Barristers name if needed is Clare Renton. Consequently, we had a disastrous hearing and result. After this incredibly poor conclusion to a years supposed 'support', Jenny did not even ring me to finish, to complete, to apologise, to say anything re the outcome, showing to me the level of how she was there to simply extract maximum profit from her clients.

Jenny managed to earn her firm a hefty profit from how she 'played' me. A very skilful woman at deception, and taking maximum profit possible for herself and the company. Totally lacking in any genuine care, or wish to genuinely help a client.

Unfortunately, women such as above, give solicitors, and barristers a bad name!

I have used Gardner Leader for more than 20 years. I have bought and sold 7 house with them and found the service from them reasonable and professional. So have a history with them I decided to use them for the final stages of my divorce.

Having done all the work for the divorce including the financials framework I came to them with a very clear amicable agreement with my ex wife as to how thing where going to be concluded financially. Easy work to be honest for a solicitor.

To my shock I received an invoice for work what was at the best nothing more than information gathering procedure readying the preparation of my form E.

When I checked the invoice worked out to £4 a minute for actually doing nothing at all. Gardner leader invoice £24 per email sent including acknowledgements to paperwork sent to them and £120 for a call I made to Gardner leader telling them that I wanted to use their services. This was on top of the £150 I had already paid for a consultation meeting. So really do yourself a favour keep well away from these guys for matrimonial services and if you do use them get a fixed price.
