Decision details
The Authorised Officer decided to impose an immediate condition on the current (2010/2011) practising certificate of Mr Jonathan Charles Lewis pursuant to Section 13A of the Solicitors Act 1974 (as amended) and Regulation 6.1(e) of the SRA Practising Regulations 2009 that should he hold client money he delivers half yearly Accountant's Reports, such Reports and any Cease To Hold Report required, to be delivered within 2 months of the end of the period to which they relate.
Reasons/basis
In making the above decision the Authorised Officer has had regard to Regulation 6.1 (e) of the SRA Practising Regulations 2011 and is satisfied that it is necessary, appropriate and proportionate in the interests of the public that, if Mr Lewis should hold client money, he be monitored more closely to ensure his compliance with rules and regulations.
