I used KLR for my conveyancing and dealt with Samanthi Perera. The day before exchange, they were phished and on completion day they transferred the sale proceeds to a scammer. They have ignored my calls and emails and after 3 weeks I still do not have my money. They have offered no guidance on when it will be paid to me. I strongly recommend you avoid this firm because they have acted with negligence. We understand that mistakes happen but to have such poor controls that they lose someone's money to a phishing scam on a property transaction and then not put it right is unacceptable.

Please think twice before using this firm. I enlisted their services to deal with my Dads probate matters when he sadly passed away. I found them to be unprofessional & disrespectful they caused me a lot of stress & upset. Official paperwork sent off had mistakes, facts & figures were recorded wrongly, there was a total disregard for my data protection, they doubled their fees, I think I was overcharged for disbursements, despite asking numerous times I never received an explanation or refund and I think I was misled/lied to more than once. It took them over 15 weeks to reply to my complaint. They admitted mistakes were made and had to undertake further work to correct them.

I am still waiting for the deeds of my house to be updated due to the fact that it took them 3 months to submit the land registry forms. I’d like to think they feel embarrassed & ashamed at their quality of service, it’s a terrible way to treat a client, especially one going through such a dreadfully sad time.

KLR provide a friendly and efficient services. They offer a free hour consultation to clients who are looking to hire a lawyer. You can ask all the questions you need to and find out what all your legal options are together with an idea of how much it will cost and how long it will take
