I called today to hopefully instruct a solicitor. The lady who answered was very blunt and didn’t want to hear why I was calling and put the phone down on me. This is very painful to go through especially when I was talking about a sensitive subject. It made me cry and now I don’t want to call another firm. This is not how I would have expected to be treated.

We note your review, which seems to be convoluted in that you say you did not have the opportunity to advise why you were calling, but then say that you were discussing a sensitive topic during the call. Legal professionals have a duty to advise you correctly on your matter, and in circumstances where we are unable to assist, we have a duty to advise you as such.
