In late 2018 I was unfortunately charged with two counts of assault by beating, which I denied. I approached Mullenders Solicitors and directed Roger Mullender to act on my behalf. Mullender's was more expensive than some of the alternatives, but I do not regret my choice at all. Roger worked with a local barrister with whom he clearly had an established an excellent working relationship. Both worked proactively to challenge the problematic evidence in the case and quickly devised a defence strategy. The case was dropped before trial due to a lack of evidence. I am certain that without the proactive efforts of Roger and the barrister, the case would have advanced to trial. Although I am confident I would have been found not guilty, the efforts of Roger helped me to avoid the continuing distress this issue was causing me, which had an impact on me professionally as well as personally. I'd happily recommend Mullender's to anyone in a similar situation and should I face legal difficulties in the future they will be on my list of Solicitors to call first.
