Sadly very disappointed with the service. Mainly due to the lack of service and support as not available for most of the time and unprofessional errors being made
Made a complaint and that has not been resolved either, very poor communication

Tim shorter represented me back In 2017 in Bournemouth. During my hearing I heard nothing from the prosecution barrister. Only Mr shorter. I made me think Mr shorter was both prosecutor and defence barrister. Since then I was represented at poole magistrates by a poole based solicitor who when the possibility of my case there being sent to Crown Court was discussed. He made it perfectly clear any barrister he would not be the last one who represented me. When I mentioned Mr shorter. Says it all. As it was the case was dealt with by the magistrates

Will and probate

Alarming lack of governance.
I had to wait 3 days to collect my late mother's will, to then be told they didn't hold it. I then had to do my own further investigations so I could TELL THEM which one of THEIR SOLICITORS compiled the will. They then unsurprisingly discovered that they did indeed hold her will.
When I collected it they took copies of my ID, and then asked me to sign a release paper with my mother's surname on and not mine.
Worrying.

Absolutely appalling service. Very poor communication. Rude and hostile staff who belittle customers rather than doling their best for them, and a huge bill at the end!! DO NOT USE

Will and probate
02/02/22 - Reviewed by Wish I'd gone elsewhere.
They've ignored a series of emails and when I phone they promise they'll get someone to contact me (that's all they can do) - but it doesn't happen. It's February. I approached them in November last year, it's just a probate I need. As far as I know, they have yet to do anything at all, although I passed over all the documentation they need at the outset, and explained they could contact me any time if they need anything else. They haven't. As a customer, you feel helpless - what can you do when you ask for an urgent update but you're just ignored? Obviously it's upsetting when someone dies, complete indifference from so-called professionals makes it so much worse. I only chose them as they had the copy will (though they wasted time trying to find it, when I'd already collected it and explained that simple fact). Wish I'd done some research and gone elsewhere. If I get anywhere I'll update ...

Have used this firm in the past and have had a similar experience it seems they haven’t changed if you can go elsewhere ASAP it will save you time and money and stress

If you want to spend money for duty solicitor and get your case completely ruined, then Mustoe shorter is your choice! The worst legal help ever, what you can dream. You paying for your solicitor, and you know what? He is not even bothered to turn up to the court!!! yeas! They only good in making promises and saying that there is nothing to worry about, easy-peasy win! And in the end when it is all ruined, they not even turning up to the court!

Absolutly awful. If you are looking for a company that is proficent and professional then look further for someone else.
However, if you are seeking a team that loses information, doesn't communicate with the customer, is rude when the customer makes enquires for updates then Mustoe shorter are the ones to choose!

There were some 13 errors in the legal paperwork-from wrong name, wrong sale price, wrong address, wrong postcode etc. etc. The name was still wrong on the supposedly corrected paperwork.. Do not use this Solicitor unless you are prepared to check everything line by line

Our experience too!
We had continual spelling errors and incorrect details on paperwork.
'phone calls never returned and they were 'always in meetings or having lunch'!
