I agree with the previous client reviews - showing one star - absolutely terrible service and very arrogant to deal with, simple divorce took way longer than it should have and my complaint was never responded to, probably retired now but I don’t know how they sleep at night! Ended up switching law firms to finalise my divorce back in 2011 as I was so disgusted by the lack of care and terrible advice I was given. Thank goodness they are closed now!

Although I have found out this practice has now closed, I would like to leave my two pence. I personally had Patrick Smith as my solicitor in a divorce case, he didn't do any work on the case and I had the impression that if I had been a rich female widow he would have been all over it. There was no personal pride in his work or attitude - to the point I actually switch Solicitors.

I share your feelings. im female but sadly neither rich or a widow . it cost me nearly £3000 to get a divorce that wasnt even being contested! and with only one small house to divide, again , this wasnt being argued about between me and my ex husband. He forwarded on letters and emails Id sent to him , to my ex husband. and seemed to do very little work himself. He charged £10 for an email , just confirming hed got my email ! total waste of money and not a good service in any shape or form

The service I received from the family solicitor was disgraceful and not law abiding I would not recommend using this company unless you want to lose everything or you have loads of money to throw at them do not trust them to represent you properly with your children you will loose them too
