Has been a nightmare a strong case has been ruined by sending us to a medical consultant who was we felt reluctant to make a thorough report off his own decision and requiring referrals that would be chargeable even though we had NHS reports ,a disappearing legal advisor towards the end of case , misdirected mail ,and dragging a simple claim out for nearly three years arriving at more or less a comparative figure from the initial beginning of case
The problem was with Paul Rooney not the Defendants in the end waiting for my settlement to go in bank over four weeks and still counting the solicitor who took over my case to be fair was thrown in at the end stage and it was difficult to pick up after nearly three years the fault lay at the initiation of the whole process to the settlement proposal . Hence my one star .

Paul Rooney Healthcare are absolutely terrible!
They messed us around, 'lost' our paperwork and missed so many deadlines that in the end both the CCG and the Ombudsman closed our file.

Speaking with them via the phone I found them to be rude and arrogant and disinterested in the fact that they so clearly ruined our case.

Do yourself a favour and pick someone else to help you.

Basically they have messed around for over 1 and a half years , no contact , they lost evidence and also can't communincate with clients . customer service is beyond dreadful do yourself and you wallet a favour avoid like the plague .

If you have a personal injury claim then please please don't go to Paul Rooney, either in Liverpool or Manchester. I was involved in a very simple & minor road traffic accident in August 2011. Now, 27 months later in January 2014 the matter still has not been finalised, with no contact or update from the solicitor. Their standard of customer service is shockingly poor and they care little for their clients. Never again, do yourself a favour and use an alternative firm to represent you.
