      Decision details

This notification relates to a Decision to prosecute before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. This is an independent Tribunal which will reach its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Solicitor. The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations which are or include :-

Failure to ensure there was a system in place for supervising client matters

Failure to report to the SRA when he had reason to suspect serious misconduct or to doubt the integrity of an employee

Failure to co-operate with the SRA

Breaches of the Solicitors Accounts Rules 1998

Failure to comply with a written notice from the SRA to produce for inspection all documents held by him or held under his control

He has acted in a way that is likely to diminish the trust the public places in him or the legal profession.

The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
