Asked for a simple legal service, which they offer. One of their representatives call me and say that they do offer that service. But only if I add on additional, more expensive add ons which make it worth their while. Absolute joke of a company, trying to add unnecessary things. They are more interested in your money, than the service they offer. Look for another firm.

Very slow service, impossible to contact in any way other than by email which took an age to get a response.
I was quoted a fixed fee at the outset, which I checked covered everything. When the final document was ready to be signed I was told there would be additional charges due to amendments. I was creating a post-nup so of course there were going to be amendments - I made four. Actually, due to the lack of speed of these solcitors, my husbands solicitors made the amendments, tracked for ease of checking. I felt like I was held to ransom when my solicitor informed me of extra charges, by email, at the point that the final document was ready for her signature.
I would not recommend this firm to anybody.

Terrible., we tried to engage a solicitor we had previously used from the Nantwich office. We were told now all new home sales were handled through the new home team based in Northwich.
We tried to have a face to face meeting after completing and supplying all the requested information but no one was available.
We were asked to complete numerous forms repeatedly, a number of mistakes encountered with very poor communication.
We were left feeling we were a process not a customer.
Added cost was added to the original quote of £1,800 approx.
Never again.

You can never get through to them, you leave a message and they do not get back to you.
Their conveyancing team need to contact their clients, they are holding everything up and looks like we are going to lose the house as it has been over 6 months and we are having to chase them all the time, absolutely ridiculous.
I have spoken to many others who are having problems with Poole Alcock.
I cannot understand the good reviews on here, I would definitely not recommend them at all.
Beware as they were recommended by the estate agent Timothy A Brown.
Because of their unprofessionalism looks like we will lose our buyer so the whole thing will collapse
