If I could leave no stars, I would. I instructed Price Slater Gawne Solicitors following the death of my mum. PSG caused me considerable stress and anxiety. A Legal Ombudsman Investigator called Mark Robinson upheld my complaint on costs and poor service. The costs information was lacking with regard to the frequency and amount being charged to manage my Trust. A minimum charge was given but no upper limit or cap. PSG agreed a fixed fee but subsequently exceeded this. This is disgraceful behaviour as I was in a vulnerable position. I have raised my concerns with the Solicitor Regulaton Authority. I felt personally attacked by Mark Slater. Mark made rude remarks about me in an attendance note. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I strongly do not recommend Price Slater Gawne Solicitors.

I have had a very positive experience using this firm. I have always found Mark Slater to be most approachable and helpful. I would recommend PRICE AND SLATER to anybody,even if you are unsure about whether you have a case I felt i got very honest, useful advice from day one, and was always kept well informed.
