For what has been a difficult time with losing both parents close together Megan Jones at your Barry branch has made this process easier to bare. She has been considerate, informative and efficient throughout.

What an unusual experience in this day and age to receive such excellent attention from everyone at J A Hughes. The receptionists were polite and friendly whilst being efficient, Megan Jones the solicitor handling our affairs could not be faulted on each occasion we were early for our appointments and as Megan was available she saw us immediately. Megan explained the legal technicalities in language that we could understand we completed our business in fewer than 10 days everyone we met were friendly whilst being professional and efficient. Thank you so much for making the whole experience as pleasant and stress free as possible in the circumstances. You exceeded our expectations, we would definitely use you again.

Following 2 RTA's through 2016 I decided to use this firm to pursue injuries compensation. Following several months of problems, and a change of solicitor ...without them informing me of that fact....I ended up with someone who had no clue on what to do and she kept asking ME for information about documents she mislaid or lost. The situation became so convoluted and hopeless for me that in the end I had to leave.
I would not recommend these solicitors to anyone. Appalling and useless. There is nothing QUALITY about this firm.

The team here are wonderful.
Marcelle has been excellent throughout the purchase of my property, and I was always confident that if I needed any updates, Stella would always be on hand to keep me reassured of the progress.

I would very much recommend J A Hughes who acted for my sister and I with probate and the sale of my late mother's house. Both Najwa Hussein (conveyancing) and Kasia Davies (probate) were very professional, approachable and efficient. Everything went through smoothly and I could not be more grateful for all their hard work.

When it came to selling and buying houses within two days of each other we had no idea who to use as Solicitors. Our Estate Agents recommended J A Hughes and what a wonderful choice they turned out to be. To us, quality of service rather than cost was the greatest concern as we were dealing with over £1 million of property, a huge sum for us. Their total charge was £822.00 for each transaction - reasonable when Estate Agents fees amounted to over £7,000.00. So, for anyone in the Cardiff area, we would definitely recommend J A Hughes - Quality Solicitors!

I came to you at a sad time as my mother just passed away, originally I came into the office for a second opinion with regards to the requirement for probate on my mum's estate. The reason for this was the negative attitude, given to me by the solicitor recommended by the estate agent dealing with the property. I met Kasia Davies who immediately understood my situation and within minutes had put me at ease, with her professional knowledge and positive attitude. I called into the office on the off-chance of getting help, I left with everything in Kasia's hands and within the time scale mentioned I have received original Grant of Probate. I would like to thank Kasia for doing this works I fully intend to return soon for Kaisa to sort out a new will for my wife and me
