I wouldn’t give this firm even so much as 1 star. They have caused me so much stress in the purchase of a property. They have dragged this process out for 5 months bearing in mind I am purchasing an empty property. No returned calls to my estate agents or solicitors. With 2 quick fix small outstanding enquiries the firm refuse to answer (well so it seems).
I wish this firm would understand that we are not just files on desks but an actual family with a little baby living out of boxes. We are so close to completing but this firm will do nothing to help. This firm has caused me so much stress and upset it is totally unacceptable.

Absolutely the most ridiculous firm! We're not using them ourselves (thank god!!) but our seller is... If you want to be lied to constantly then these are your people! We put in to purchase the property in mid Feb, enquiries raised at the start of April (a whole 19 might I add!) here we are 3 months later, only a handful of enquiries raised whilst they insist that they've answered them all. They ignore our solicitors emails for weeks at a time and only do a little bit of work when they get threatened with us pulling out! They are honestly laughable and I would advise anybody to avoid them at all costs! Don't waste your time or money.

AVOID. Our vender is currently using these solicitors, I’ll use the term “using” loosely as they’re not actually doing anything. We’re waiting on 18 outstanding enquires since April, it is now midway through June. They’re unresponsive, rude, and are refusing to speak to the vender that has instructed them as well as my own solicitor and William H Brown. We purchased this house in February, it’s now June and we still don’t have a moving date. I wouldn’t ever recommend these solicitors, constantly chasing them daily with little to no response.

We were recommended Raw Clark by our estate agent, would never do this again. These solicitors are incompetent, I had to do all the ringing up to find out what was taking so long in the sale, they never answer the phone, and if they did the person you wanted to speak to was unavailable, or they would ring you back, but never did I was told by one solicitor to ring the estate agent myself rather than him?. The solicitor took a long time to answer my purchasers solicitors or the estate agents enquiries, and that was if he did. Through this conveyancer and solicitor we have lost our sale, I had complained after the sale fell through ?. He never tried to negotiate to save our sale, he only emailed to say it my fault the purchasers had pulled out. I would not recommend these solicitors, and we have been told by our estate agent that they will not be recommending RAW Clark solicitors again and have taken them off their list. BBA88

Very disappointing service. Especially as myself and my buyer did most of the work for them the sale took over 5 months to complete even though there was no chain on either side. I was unable to even have a telephone conversation with anyone apart from the receptionist who informed me that they were only responding to emails in due course, despite me emailing several times I did not receive any response until I contacted purple bricks post sales department to complain about lack of communication I then received a reply basically saying they were waiting on buyers solicitors which was a complete lie. Myself and my buyer then resorted to forwarding each solicitors emails back and forth to our solicitors so that they were aware what each party were saying the hold up was. Once we started doing this we completed within 2 weeks. I very much resented having to pay fee's as it seems we did most of the work for them. Would not recommend especially if you are hoping for a quick stress free sale.

DO NOT INSTRUCT! Like others who have left reviews we were naive in taking our estate agents recommendation to use RAW Clark. If I could leave RAW Clark zero stars I would, they are that bad!
Like many others, a straight forward no chain situation, both the sale of our house and the onward purchase were straight forward cases. Our buyers were first time buyers and our onward purchase- a new build. No chains at all and no complications. RAW were very quick to send out our packs and once they had our signatures that was the last of the contact from them.
3 months of painstaking delays and zero communication, with regards to the sale. The only response I got was after I threatened to report them to the legal ombudsman and then to the SRA which to be honest I’m still going to do anyway because these cowboys should not be taking peoples money. Alan Tulip is the furthest thing from a professional solicitor, let alone a director of a company, the worst service I have ever received from a company full stop let alone the fact they are meant to be qualified solicitors.
The only thing that kept me sane throughout the sale process was the fact that we had pattinsons constantly chasing them and updating us when they themselves were eventually getting drip fed tiny pieces of info. This was because Pattinsons knew their reputation was on the line by recommending this dreadful dreadful company and I genuinely felt so bad for the extra work it was causing the staff there.
I was so relieved once the sale was completed, I naively thought that the stress was over- WRONG! We soon discovered that in the three months of arranging the sale, RAW had not done a thing with regards to the onward purchase of the house we were purchasing either! Not a thing; so the stress started all over again except this time RAW ignored us, ignored our mortgage broker, ignored our sellers solicitors, ignored the sales person at the development we are buying on and also ignored their management and legal team, of course once the sale was completed we no longer had pattinsons there doing the chasing.
RAW couldn’t give us straight answers to minor queries, never answer the phone, the secretary constantly promises they will call you back but they never do. It got to the point where we were threatened with our house being put back on the market because our seller was so sick of waiting for any sort of communication from RAW, so we had to instruct a new solicitor. Taylor Rose has done more for us in the space of 4 days that RAW were able to do in almost 4 month. Don’t put yourself through it and if you have had a bad experience with them please report them they shouldn’t be putting people through this and getting away with it.

Absolutely horrendous and disgusting!!! The worst solicitors you can ever deal with! After 4 months of stress and anxieties caused by raw Clark, our sale and purchase has fallen through, all down to such incompetent and unprofessional people like raw Clark !
They are so ignorant, rude and they absolutely lack of knowledge! Constantly lying to you, never return your calls! Other companies involved in our transaction defined them as disgrace and they have never had to deal with people like them ! Now referring them to legal obdusman!!! Avoid at all cost!! Alan Tulip ignored our complaint twice, after 3rd complained he refused to work for us, just one week away from completing! You’re disgusting, incompetent bunch of people! Avoid at all cost !!!!

Absolute Joke, Been calling for 2 days all the secretary says is the solicitor will call back and still has not. Not helpful at all. Already charged fees. Do not recommend what so ever no professional within the firm.

The experience that I have had with this firm has been very difficult. They are very rude and sarcastic in their dealings. You should look elsewhere as they are not a professional organisation. Decided not to continue with them and lot a sale of a house. Dont go through with this company.

Literally one of the worst experiences of my life. Bought a house in September and was "recommended" to use this solicitor... Worst thing I ever did.
Zero communication, even after copious emails, telephone messages and calls... Then when I do get a reply, its a very sarcastic answer.
House sales are stressful enough without your legal team making it nion impossible to move anything along.
Avoid this firm at all costs!

I took up the offer by Purple Bricks to use their recommended Conveyancing and I have regretted it since. They do not communicate at all, they lost paperwork, they are slow. I am beyond dissapointed with such poor service and I was even more dissapointed to pay for it. You have to email several times over and over, the answers you get a vague. Avoid the frustration and dissapointment of delays

I would give more stars if they communicated quicker. You do have to persist and chase them up. However, the advice I got regarding issues with the property, discovered after purchase, has been very knowledgeable and helpful. I am grateful to them for that. It has been a fair service.

Very very poor. They don't respond to emails for weeks and when they do emails make no sense. Never worked with a worse firm - very frustrating to deal with and entirely incompetent. Avoid at all costs. If you google you will see others with similar experiences.

I wish I had read more reviews before deciding to let them manage my case. It is very frustrating that they have been recommended by the estate agency as I am having the same problems with them, they never respond to emails or calls promptly and it is taking a very long time to finalize the contract for no apparent reason apart from them being extremely slow. I have tried to access their website but it is in the process of being updated, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a CEO of the company or a team that deals with complaints? thank you all for leaving reviews as it is important to know that I am not the only one that has experienced these issues with them.

We're having the same problems. No communication from them since we started house sale in September 2020. No reasons given, assuming the procedure was progressing normally until buyers contacted us to say their lawyers had been waiting for information for weeks and unable to get any response. Certainly wouldn't recommend them for a stress free transaction

Buying a house and have had to communicate most of the work with the seller via the estate agent rather than the Solicitors as can never reach them, don't respond to calls or emails, just get completely ignored. Horrific experience and will be sole purpose of me pulling out of this purchase as getting no where.

If you have elderly relatives who do not have access to the internet - DO NOT USE. They do not return calls no matter how urgent you tell them it is. Our parents are remote and selling to be near us, they keep ringing and never get a call back. Biggest mistake they made taking the estate agents recommendation. Awful - do not use.

I had great service from Jill at raw Clark solicitors she kept me up to date at all times regarding the purchase of a property,I was happy with the cost and didn’t find them over priced for there services.Highley recommended.
