If you expect a solicitor to keep to his estimate. Don't use them.
If you have a spare £8000 to spend on a letter of claim which never materialised then go for it.
Went to Ombudsmen poor practice on two counts but no recompense and they made sure they got another £2400 otherwise threatened with debt collectors. Nice company . Do not consider them
