We decided to use R&H again after using them for Conveyancing in the past and found them to be ok albeit a little slow in responding and certainly the most expensive at the time.
Anyway, this time was AWFUL and very concerning! We asked them to deal with a cash purchase with no chains involved, no mortgage and it couldn’t have started worse. Straight off the bat they sent all our personal details including sensitive financial information to an address that we hadn’t lived in for years! Even though we gave them out latest address. It’s a good job this wasn’t a messy divorce because it would have been disastrous for us. We are almost certain the people at our old address would have opened our legal pack as It was never returned and R&H basically just brushed it off without concern. We even sent R&H all our correct detail again and to make things even worse they used our old address yet AGAIN on documents even after we got upset with them. At this point we had no choice but to stick with them as it would have affected the purchase. I would never trust them again and any solicitor that sends sensitive documents to a wrong address needs to look at how they perform. The whole experience was very uncomfortable and unprofessional with what felt like a school project. Never again!
