Not the worst or the greatest I've used. Currently using them and seem to have to chase/ micro-manage them a lot.

Dreadful service. The solicitor ended up passing our case for the most part to her assistant. They repeatedly didn’t answer our calls And behaved as if we were a nuisance because we were worried that they took 4 months to compete the transaction. Significantly they failed to inform our buyer of The exchange date In advance which threatened to destroy the chain. Don’t touch them with a barge pole. Fascinating too that they only get really bad reviews or 5 out of 5 reviews. I wonder who’s writing those!

Elizabeth Canter has represented my partner via Carringtons for most of the last year. She is always responsive and easy to get through to, very supportive and has given excellent advice through out the d cat and parole process. I can not recommend her highly enough. Excellent prison law solicitor!

I have had very good experience with RMNJ for both selling and purchasing of properties. Grainne Mulholland and her team Louise Jones took great care of my cases and went extra miles on each occasions. They are personable and prompt in answering questions. Some of the great advices I received from Grainne were second to none and I trust her and Louise wholeheartedly. I could not have asked for a better conveyancing solicitor, and will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone too!

Rmnj have been absolutely brilliant from the start till the end. My solicitor was Andrew Hazeldine and his deputy David Meyer were both very prompt at responding, patient at explaining things and the bill came up to the arranged sum. The communication was done by email or phone. I have always had a feeling that they enjoyed their job and were on my side. Last but not least they offer very competitive prices. I thoroughly recommend.

I would definitely recommend using RMNJ if you are buying a property - they were so helpful, gave excellent advice and assistance and also were wonderfully human - understanding our need to move in before Christmas. They were really easy to get hold of (unlike the seller's solicitor who was terrible!). They came in under the estimate of £1,200 we had for conveyancing. When we originally checked the reviews, we saw a few negative ones, but found out that they dated back to a while ago when they had taken on too many clients and they have improved lots since then, taking on more staff to compensate. I felt so safe with them - all their material is jargon-free and I actually enjoyed reading it!

I instructed RMNJ on a purchase of a property in August 2017. The service was outstanding, no delay in response time and everything was clearly explained. Very efficient service and transparent, reasonable pricing. Grainne Mulholland leading the transaction team was excellent.

Use RMNJ last year for our sale and purchase. Communication was absolutely terrible between RMNJ and us, and RMNJ to other parties. More than this, however, the rudeness of the staff was shocking- chasing after a week of no reply, you were made to feel like an annoyance. There were so many issues to such a point I was considering taking it further but once we finally moved I wanted to move on and never have to deal with the company again.
May have just been the card we were dealt with the solicitor and legal assistant we were assigned, but someone needs to be monitoring the service here

RMNJ is an awful conveyancing solicitor. Very poor communication. I was provided no updates as to where proceedings were up to. They missed emails that I sent them providing information and then re-requested this. They missed every pre-promised milestone on the timeline by either days or weeks. I was in a process in no chain and it took over 3 months to complete. Terrible. Stay away.

The service received was outstanding Mr G Pachter supported me and my son through a very difficult time. Our first time having to deal with the law. The communication was excellent and the end result was superb - better than we ever imagined. Gerry was very approachable, personable, kind and respectful and always made me feel better about the situation.
I cannot thank Gerry and Matthew and RMNJ enough for their support. I would recommend their services without hesitation.

RMNJ did an outstanding job when they acted for me on my first house purchase. They were responsive, professional and always ready to answer my questions over the phone or via email. With their guidance and support, I successfully exchanged and completed in less than two months, and I’ve only positive things to say about the experience. Thanks in particular to Andrew and David, who were superb throughout!

I have just started a leasehold purchase with them, they have been very slow to respond so far. Some of my serious queries have been ignored by solicitor. There is some mixed up in getting contract paper from the seller solicitor which mean seller solicitor has yet no detail of my solicitor. I hope it improves.

Very little communication, either with their client or between themselves when it transpired that our file was regularly passed between them. Our solicitor (buying), the estate agent, and even their own client repeatedly asked them for some very simple files from the local authority so that we could progress with the sale before our mortgage offer expired. What should have taken a couple of weeks ended up taking three months (and we're not quite there yet). Everyone involved in this sale was pulling their hair out in frustration with RMNJ for failing to carry out the simplest of tasks and then going AWOL for weeks at a time.
Their lack of engagement, unprofessionalism and apparent disinterest in doing their jobs was, simply, astounding and I would fully expect their client to chase them for any financial losses that he may incur due to their incompetence.
I would wholly advise anyone considering this bunch of clowns to avoid them and pay a bit extra for a solicitor that will act in their clients' interest.

We used RMNJ's conveyancing services for buying our first house late last year. Our case was assigned to Mr Stephen White, and we have nothing but praise for him.
Being first time buyers, one of the things we were looking for in our conveyancer was responsiveness, and we always found Stephen (Steve) prompt and accurate, not to mention very knowledgeable as well. He established contact with the seller’s solicitor immediately and asked for the required information at right junctures, he also shared copies of that communication with us to keep things transparent.
Where Steve and RMNJ exceeded our expectations was when he took initiative to contact the estate management company, for some critical information, when the seller's solicitor failed to get the required information in timely manner. That move certainly accelerated the transaction completion.
Knowing the fact that we were first time buyers, Steve and his colleague John Darby took time to educate us about the key components of the transaction.
We did some research before appointing RMNJ, and we found them very competitive on their prices as well, and in the end are very pleased that we took their services.

I am very disappointed in the service, I have used RMNJ solicitors many times . (divorce, conveyancing, probate and conveyancing again .) They are rude can't be bothered attitude and because of their unprofessional approach have slowed our completion down which is now costing us more in council tax. They have been described by our buyers solicitor as LAZY !!! Can't wait for them to open today as I will be asking to speak to the senior partner !!!

I would absolutely not recommend RMNJ - the staff were polite but I regularly waited weeks for responses to emails and at one point (when I was trying to exchange), they fobbed me off from speaking to my soIicitor for over 2 weeks. The only time I got a same day response from an email was when after weeks of silence from them I asked to change solicitors, which they did not do. They also overcharged me by several hundred pounds and I am still waiting for the correct invoice (again, I have sent multiple emails and still got nowhere...). I chose them because they were slightly cheaper, but this turned out be a very bad decision!

Excellent efficient and friendly service. Always responded to tel calls and e mails and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.Paid exactly what they quoted (which was incredibly reasonable) and completed house sale very efficiently and swiftly.

Extremely slow and totally lost when asked a question concerning conveyancing. A straight forward cash sale turned into a complex nightmare as soon as they got involved. Eight weeks in the sale collapsed due to what can only be described as negligence and incompetence.

When you instruct a solicitor you expect them to act in your best interests and work in a prompt and effective manner. You may find RMNJ to be very good value for money. However, in my experience they could not get a simple sale to exchange after 16 weeks. Instructing this company is false economy, you will end up with stress and a very lengthy and be likely to instruct a capable firm in the end. I would suggest you avoid RMNJ as this is false economy. I gave them every opportunity and encountered months of misery with this company. Avoid at all costs.

I wouldn't say they were out and out negligent, just inefficient and veeeery slow. Instructed them for a sale and purchase – a chain of three parties involved so nothing complicated. It took five months. Paperwork was sent out late causing delays, it would appear no effort was made to chase up information needed from our vendors and no updates were forthcoming unless I asked for them. Proactive is not a phrase they are familiar with. I had the strong impression that all work was done by a secretary. I never once succeeded in speaking to our solicitor. At the final stages we were under a lot of pressure from our vendors to exchange and ended up exchanging and then completing two days later. Not recommended for one's blood pressure! What should have been a very simple sale and purchase became quite a stressful experience. I should add that a query I had post completion was completely ignored. Of course it was! They had their money by then. Avoid this firm unless you have reasons to delay your conveyancing process.
