If the abuse happened in an institution or by anyone untouchable within any institutions past or present then you may want to acknowledge the reality that no law firms will want to touch the case at all. As an historic abuse victim of several untouchable people from two institutions, i found this firm did not want to even look into what i had to say never mind help me. That is why untouchable people in untouchable institutions remain untouchable. Sad but true.

Robert Shaw is an expert in his field. He listened to me, and then tirelessly fought for justice in an historic abuse compensation claim. Over the course of twelve months, Robert did all the correspondence and paperwork. He was fast, professional and knows the process inside out. Robert was responsible for challenging my initial CICA award of £19,000 and he commissioned a report which formed robust medical evidence. He put me in touch with a superb barrister who also gave me expert advice. The result was Robert secured a final award of £207,000. Robert's legal fees were very reasonable. I would strongly recommend Mr Robert Shaw to anyone considering making an application for compensation. He's quite simply brilliant in every way. Thanks to Robert's work, I am now able to rebuild my life.
