They were negligent in not providing us with information regarding beneficiaries of an estate that we are representing.

Very Bad Company.
In 2015 i had problem with Rent Agency, and I looking for a Lawyer, I meet Seth Lovis for explain all (they ask me immediate 180 pounds, paid also if i have not money for problem with Agency), because I prefer someone to follow it.
Dispute, was around Agency never protect my deposit and put me in problem with room and work, and by Government website i can manage it with free of charge.
When i met Seth Lovis Lawyer, Sarah Whitfield, I accept she will follow my dispute, and price will be under 1000 pounds, because i can't pay more, otherwise, i will refuse it.
In may 2017 she wrote me, that she will leave company, and another lawyer will be follow my Dispute, from there, disaster, Seth lovis, lost my proof, documents, video, and pictures, and i need to recover from backup.
New Lawyer Alexander Clarke, from there until now, ask ask me only money, i already paid more of 2400 pounds, without have any resolutions, and already pass 3 years.
Now they ask more of 1500 pounds, when if i follow all alone, will be free of charge.
Conclusion, if you want not waste your time and money, don't give to this company any dispute, they are very unprofessional, and ask only your money.

We are sorry that you have not been satisfied with the service we have provided. We would like to respond however to say that we have not lost any information or documentation you have sent and are unsure why you say this. Further, you instructed us to issue court proceedings and we have asked you for money on account of our costs to do so and for the court fee. The amount we have asked you for is not £1500 but £921.71. You had stated that you had sent is £360 but then on 5 July you confirmed to us that you had not. So the fact remains that we are happy to accept your instructions to issue court proceedings but we simply need you to pay monies on account so we can do this. If you do not now wish to instruct us to do so and intend instead to progress your case yourself, then we wish you all the very best doing so.

Of course I'm not happy for services, if I know that will be an bleeding of money that i will not see again (more then i will take if i will win), i'm not start this claim.
Sometime honesty is said :'You will spend more then take, i can suggest you to not use our services, but try directly to court, it's free of charges for that'.
About lost of document, i received an email on may 2017 where missing some document with date 2 October 2015, i gave all document by email, and USB key, with pictures and videos, and all documents. For this request I waste 1 month search in my backup, because it's already pass 2 years.
Any way, I confirm, I'm not happy with services, with your services i lose more money then if I made nothing.
I confirm my suggest, If anyone want safe money and time, doesn't use this Solicitors, I will not more (Lesson Learned)

I recently updated my Will and required a lasting power of attorney. My lady solicitor was super. I attended their offices and was made to feel very welcome. The service I was afforded was excellent and considering the complexity of my estate I feel it was reasonably priced. Thank you Miss Klair.

All is good until you sign their paperwork and pay their upfront fee, once you do that your emails will be ignored (not just by the solicitor but also by their secretary), your case will not be taken seriously and you will be seriously overcharged. In many years, I have dealt with dozens of solicitor firms for various cases and this firm was the worst.
Save yourself time and money, go somewhere else.

I approached Seth Lovis in June 2016. To enforce a signed court agreement which was already registered at the UK court and to claim 50% of the rental income of a shared property. They charged me over £32.000,- so far. To date I still have not been able to collect my money. Their letters are full of errors with irrelevant information or missing relevant information. They send letters out out on my behalf several time without my confirmation with statements I did not agree with, which caused me even more problems.. After one and half year they estimated they would need another £20.000 - £30.000 just to get my 50% of the rental income of my shared property.

Seth Lovis is now threating with “defamation proceedings against†me for writing an honest review. Quite intimidating to have a legal firm threatening a single private person, who just spend all his money to a that law firm. Looks like quite an effective way to get good ratings by threating and intimidating any submitters of bad reviews.

I have not had any response to date from Seth Lovis on my follow up email asking how they're getting on with their defamation proceedings so it all appears to be just bullying tactics. In my opinion another indication of their inability to handle even their own cases. My case is still being investigated by the ombudsman.
If anyone wonders how come they seem to have good reviews at https://www.reviews.co.uk/company-reviews/store/seth-lovis-co-solicitors , just try to submit a review and you know why.

I used the property department at Seth Lovis & Co earlier this year, they carried out the conveyancing on my flat in Battersea. I found them to be professional, curtious and generally nice to deal with. I didn't feel at all stressed during the sale process and was most impressed, in fact I have already recommended my boss to them. Would use again.

They charge extortionate prices by the hour including phone calls and emails,and make mistakes blaming their clients,so the client has to pay them again,this happened to me regarding paperwork that wasn't properly look at and costing more to rectify things .I would never use them again for wasting my money on bad excuses
