Not even worth 1 star but I had to leave them something to review them! Just like other reviews have suggested, this firm did not know the legal requirements when drawing up wills for clients. At least the Legal Ombudsman has recognised their major failings and awarded a fair amount of compensation for the emotional stress these solicitors caused. All that is needed now is for the SRA to step in when they finalise their internal investigation to save other people from going through such stress (added stress which is certainly not needed when already dealing with a bereavement!)

The WORST SOLICITORS EVER! DO NOT TRUST this firm with your life and certainly DON'T TRUST them in your death unless you want your last will and testament to be invalid (which is what happened to us). My family has gone through hell & back because of this firms incompetence as they state "THEY DID NOT KNOW THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS" when witnessing a will. All I can say is... if unfortunately you have used Sharp, Cross and Mann to draw up your will, check it very carefully, make sure that a beneficiary is NOT married to one of the witnesses and most importantly, make sure ALL witnesses and the Testator were present at the same time of signing it (One of their 'experienced solicitors' witnessed my late father's will without the other witness being present which caused it to be invalid) Two separate failings by this solicitor's firm (in both the will failure and a conveyancing matter) make me want to warn others to go elsewhere as Sharp, Cross & Mann can NOT BE TRUSTED in the slightest.
