We ended up paying this solicitor a lot of money for being made to feel like a nuisance or some kind of underling by the receptionist who was curt to the point of being blatantly rude. Waiting room is dark and dingy affair that looks like someone once smoked a thousand cigarettes in it. There is yellowed paintwork and the chairs look like they were stolen from a sixties caravan park. The solicitor was a bumbling bustling woman who acted like they didn’t have any time and reassuringly told us something would be dealt with yet somehow without revealing what. All in all very impersonal, distanced and inhuman.

It's the Glastonbury office that I am reviewing. I have used them before for a house conveyance. I felt that although the job was done very well and thouroughly, that somehow I was constantly made to feel like I was rude or stupid in someway. I recently needed a solicitor again to deal with a tenant problem. I rang the original female solicitor. I was told that a different lady solicitor would have to deal with this, and would ring me later. Again, I felt this sort of, "Oh, you again" sort of attitude. Anyway, three times I rang to remind them about my enquiry. The response as usual had an irritated tone. I simply explained that no-one had rung me yet. "Oh well she's very busy, I have left her a note on her desk to ring you". "OK", I say. I have not had a reply from anyone.
