Accounting error found after completion
Surprise £1000 bill 2 days after completion and a week after I has settled the bill on the day I reserved it.
They made basic error with data entry never checked their work they poorly communicated this error. Refused to check for any other error and no replay to my complete after 4 weeks.

Do not use!!! My partner and I are buying an apartment, it is a new build. Spratt are supposed to be doing our searches, this was probably ordered about two(ish) months ago. We have heard nothing from them, every time we call they won't speak to us and quite often no one working on our case is even in.
I understand the searches can take a while to do, but there has been absolutely zero communication. When we chose Spratt they told us they would be in contact us every step of the way, absolute joke. On MonseySupermarket they were supposed to be updating the progress on there as they did it and we went in same day as requested to give them our proof of identity, as they asked for it urgently, and yet that wasn't even updated for weeks!
They were on the ball to collect payment though!
Please - if you value your time and money, do not use Spratt! Pay a bit extra for a half decent solicitor.

Poor service, feel overcharged and would not recommend to others.
Agree with the comment below about the Bucks branch. Feel like I am being a nuisance for simply wanting to move into my new home. I appreciate these things are not done overnight but I have not heard from my solicitor once. Instead from their assistant who has been of little help.

Just as said by another person here: 'Poor from start to finish...as if we, their client, were a problem and nuisance as opposed to someone whom they were being paid to serve'...This review partially sums up my ordeal with this law firm. Meanwhile they took the false information provided to them by the other party seriously, they did not consider the counter-evidence that was crying out to them! Instead of doing their own basic research, the solicitor who was dealing with the matter (KW) was more than happy to rely on the other party who spurted lies and stories throughout. I found myself having to disprove every single lie told each time and thinking why I am being put in this position- I was the client who not only paid them but also stuck to the truth from the very start. I even considered taking legal action against the lies told by the other party who had been given advice by the solicitor that I paid for in a matter that was a concern of ‘conflict of interest’…Several issues had become apparent to me before I stopped using this firm: Clients conflict of interest – Clients confidentiality - Administrative errors – Poor communication etc. They eventually admitted some of their errors and shortcomings… I don’t know how the other law firms work out their bills but I was made to pay for email/letter correspondences and phone conversations between this firm and the other party. I was strongly advised to stay with them as a paying client and let them continue their future correspondences with the other party (since there were more and more lies and stories to come to their desk!). When I told them No THANK YOU, they blamed me for stopping them from doing their job! I wasted my hard earned money and had sleepless nights for months! Now having had legal advice elsewhere, I would never ever recommend this firm to anyone. My advice is that before choosing a law firm please do your own research- do not go to the nearest one to you because it is convenient. If you are desperate in finding the right firm, please go to the nearest citizen’s advice bureau who will most likely recommend you to one of their reliable solicitors.

Looking for reviews for this solicitor and found your review. This solicitor KW has done exactly the same to us not considered our evidence, listened and advised the other party and has also given us sleepless nights. We are in the process of making a formal complaint. I can't believe this happening more than once

Poor from start to finish.
Delayed us for 3 weeks by missing e-mails despite us chasing them up. Minus the 3 week delay we would have completed on time and not incurred the extra expense of another months rent.
The total experience from Spratt Endicott was one of complete lack of interest in actually working on behalf of their client. Nobody seemed to want to help move things along, nobody seemed to want to communicate with us what was happening and nobody seemed interested in keeping to our deadlines. All communication with us was done begrudgingly as if we, their client, were a problem and a nuisance as opposed to someone whom they were being paid to serve.
I will not recommend this firm to anyone to use and if my complaint is not handled satisfactorily by the firm i will be going to the ombudsmen.

I have since had a satisfactory response to my complaint; the senior partner responsible for dealing with complaints did so in a very professional manor within a good time frame.
As such I been asked to qualify my comment above.
Since formally complaining i have received a much better service from Spratt Endicott and do believe they have the structure in place to make such failures in future less probable.
Having said that, it is still very unlikely i will personally use them again.
