I had a deeply disappointing experience with this firm while seeking justice for historical abuse I suffered as a child at the hands of various professionals. Unfortunately, I found the head of the abuse department to lack the basic decency to communicate with me directly; instead, my case was handled by another individual who I believe has since left the firm.
I encountered a frustrating reluctance from the firm to engage with me or discuss my situation meaningfully. It seemed as though one individual in my story was viewed as untouchable, which hindered any productive dialogue. It raises the question: what is the purpose of this firm's abuse department.

Medical negligence

It appearers this firm has had a clear out of some of its solicitors since they neglected me and other victims.
You see, I was put in touch with this firms medical negligence department regarding what was institutional medical malpractice. When they realised the scale of the issue however, they turned away and refused to help. They turned their backs on me and very many victims. Lets hope they are not still doing so.

Funny, that. I was abused and no one cared less at this firm when i turned to them , could not careless, were heartless, my suffering of no intrest. Perhaps due to me not being a female ? Males get liitle intrest as abuse victims. Even less if its a profesional that abuses you. Shame on you.

I wish i had read the reviews for this firm before getting involved with their Sheffield office. Their Clinical negligence department up in Sheffield was utterly incompetent. Fool for not reading the reviews and doing research.

Divorce

Really disappointing service. A "clean break" divorce that ended up as anything but, breaking down within 6 weeks. If this is what the Ombudsman deems to be a "reasonable" service, ie Switalskis simply processed my divorce rather than providing the level of advice and guidance I had expected, I would recommend to all to buy a decent text book and represent yourself as I have had to do in the 2 court cases arising from the mess I have been left with.

Unfortunately firms are able to self promote their inflated ability's via twitter, FB & own websites. Providing a good service is sadly irreverent. Avoid.
