Worst law firm ever. AVOID USING SERVICES unless you want to be let down last minute and loose the mortgage on your property because they can't fo job properly.
Now I have to start all over again due to solicitors incompetence. Funny enough they expect me to pay fees, which aren't cheap for SERVICES I DIDN'T RECEIVE.
Tried to call, no one ever answers and when they, they tell you to stop ringing.
6 months later I have to start again with the stress again.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. COMUNICATION GOES ONE WAY, BARELY REPLY. SCAM. LIARS.
They only started my files week before mortgage offer runs out ????. Contacted complaint team. Still waiting ????

I found their details on a search engine back in Dec 2023.I was advised after their outage all was alright from 18/12/2023. It was not and they weee just accepting business .My ID was completed 20/12/23 and then you hear nothing. They blame Christmas. There conveyancer got back 8/1 and 12/1 with not much. Eventually a Manager phoned 11/1 for a few minutes. Clearly he was not being watched and was removed 2/2. Delays had already occurred with the lease pack expiry of eight weeks and the seller may have had to pay again to be prepared. All because that conveyancer was poor.
Over the next three months there were more delays. The replaced conveyancer would go on holiday and the file would sit idle for a few weeks then when she returned another ten days were lost as she could only do completions. So many delays. Then we hear she is leaving. Another person was appointed 3/6
This sale was no mortgage ,no survey ,no chain and the seller was also ready to leave the country.
It took 186 days to get over the line and their customer service just sends out useless excuses that are not associated with the events.
You have to correct them actually what did happen and their leaving solicitor the second time admitted to their errors.
You cannot have large gaps as buyers can loose their purchases.
Seems they have no Management teams to look out for slackness.
Who knows whether they have any group meetings to discuss customer progress.
Oh and the usual you can’t get hold of them to even chase up the other side
What a shambles and waiting for the Director to comment on their in house shambles.
Will pass this to the Legal Ombudsman but not really holding my breath.

They were my buyer's conveyancer and have been utterly useless.
They have been dragging things out with questions that are clearly invalid and then finally offering factually incorrect advice on BSA 2022 causing my buyer to drop out after 5 months. The act is 2 years old now, not understanding it by now in their profession is simply incompetence. The conveyancer dealing with this case simply does not know how to deal with a flat purchase.
I hope my buyer realises they have given bad advice eventually and claim back the fees they are still charging him but sadly I get nothing.
Avoiding these like the plague from now on.

I strongly advise against using Taylor Rose for property transactions. We lost our buyers after five months in the process due to the incompetence of one of their solicitors, forcing us to restart the entire process. Communication was abysmal throughout — they rarely answered calls or responded to messages.
Even on the day of completion, the service did not improve. They transferred funds to our purchase solicitor but “forgot” that a second approval was required, delaying the process. Despite numerous calls and emails from our side, we received no response. The funds were eventually transferred after 5pm, and we almost ended up spending the night in our car. Thankfully, our purchase solicitor waited beyond her working hours and managed to complete the transaction.
Overall, the stress and mental toll were significant. Please think carefully before choosing this firm, as our experience was deeply frustrating

While other areas of this organisation might offer great service, this review is specifically about MARK DALZIEL and my experience with his role in the sale of a property. In my opinion, the service was frustratingly slow (getting on for 6 months with a zero-chain transaction…), and important issues seemed to be left until the last minute, which added unnecessary stress to the process.
If you’re looking for a smooth, efficient conveyancing process, my experience suggests that MARK DALZIEL might not be the best choice. I personally found the service lacking in responsiveness and clarity, and I wouldn’t recommend him based on this experience.
I anticipate the usual response of “We’re sorry you feel this way” or “Please contact our Client Care Team.” While I appreciate the sentiment, I've moved on, and my only intention is to share my experience so others can make an informed decision when appointing a solicitor for their property sale.

The worst solicitor conveyancing experience ever. Taylor rose use franchise type set up and their case handlers Hassan Khan and Chirag Chopra were the most unprofessional and incompetent team that delayed the process, continuous away on leave, never communicated well with each other or the client. Costing me more than 9 months to do a job that would take normally 4-5 months and with these delays, empty property until completion cost me over £10,000 in losses. I would never recommend the two and who are a black mark to the brand Taylor Rose.

Terrible, terrible company. I have had a case ongoing with the litigation team based in Peterborough for the last year. Response times were often 5+ weeks, and I have a collection of 20+ emails that all start with "Sorry for the delay but....." followed by every excuse. I paid £5k, and ended up going to the Legal Ombudsman. Really poor company, AVOID.

Worst solicitor I have ever worked with in my entire life. Apart from being extremely slow and incompetent, they have twice decided to cease representing us. Rather than contacting us and discuss this, they have sent us a quick email with the message that they don't represent us anymore, without giving an update on the current status quo of the selling process. It's super shocking when your solicitors suddenly drops you. I do not recommend this firm to anyone.

I requested a conveyancing quote from Taylor Rose, it was received within four days and I was happy to go ahead. I wanted to speak to someone before hand as I had a couple of queries. I have telephoned countless times and are still waiting on a reply.
I have decided to good with a local firm now, a little bit more in costs but at least they return your calls.
