The service was second to none it was helpful and professional it didn't cost a lot only 33% of my payout from my ex employer and I would recommend Tom Street and Co to anyone who found themselves in the same situation as I did

I found Tom street manner on our first phone call very intimidating I went through a traumatic time at work but made so much worse by his so called Solicitor who in my estimate hemmed me in to take on a barrister 8 days before tribunal. I recieved very little counsel from this solicitor he rarely replied to emails phone calls. I asked to meet up with him several times.
My case was not presented in the way that it could have been. Indeed if it had of been i could have won as i believe now i had a case for discrimination but i was given very little professional counsel.
I would actually rate them no stars.
I took them on as a no win no fee but 8 days before trial i was told that he could no longer represent me and gave me a name of a barrister. Which cost me the guts of £5000.00.

1) Communication was at best sketchy.
2) Limited knowledge of employment law.
3) If your case is likely to go past conciliation to a full blown employment tribunal, these guys bottle it. They just want the easy work and try charging 33% of claim.
4) If you just want someone to write an official letter for you, they can do it. That's what the one star is for.
5) Do not think at any moment these guys are on your side or representing you. They purely are looking out for themselves.

AS I CONTACTED FEW FIRMS TO RESOLVE MY EMPLOYMENT CASE AND THEY SUDDENLY APPROACHED TO HELP OUT WHICH IS QUITE SUSPICIOUS .
Please share ur experience in details and whats the ultimatum outcome ?

We are sorry that you feel that you did not receive a good service from us. We are constantly striving to give excellent customer service, improve our systems and expand our network of specialist no win no fee solicitors in order that we can provide the best experience for our valued clients.
We try to represent as many of our clients as possible on a no win no fee basis, and we are one of the few employment solicitors in the UK that provide this service. We do this in order that our clients can access justice. In particular, we appreciate that people who have lost their jobs do not have the funds to fight their case. Our fees are 35% inclusive of VAT if we win your case. However if we don't win, we don't charge a fee.
Unfortunately, in some instances, cases do not pan out in the way that we or our clients had hoped. This may be due to new evidence arising or other factors. We very rarely pull out of cases and we only do so if there is a very good reason for it, usually because the prospects of success have deteriorated. As this is an anonymous complaint, it is not possible to respond to your specific observations, but I can confirm that we have helped thousands of clients over the years, either by way of settlement or fighting their case at the employment tribunal. Our many other positive reviews attest to this.
