Really crap service. Ignored my phone calls asking for an update, my case didn't progress in 3 months, so found a decent solicitor elsewhere who charges a lot more but actually does some work. It isnt about the money but getting the job done.

I first contacted Turpin & Miller about two weeks ago because my wife is in the process of renewing her spouse visa. I have, since this time, called twice, left a voicemail and send a web-form message and nobody has made the slightest effort to contact me to arrange an appointment or to discuss our case.

I don't feel it's correct that a customer should have to battle for the privilege of parting with £200 for an hour's consultation like this. I'm sure Turpin & Miller's legal services are great if you can actually get to see someone, but the principle of 'customer service' doesn't just apply to supermarkets. You risk damaging your brand by dismissing it.

This is understandable. But I suppose it’s better that they don’t even take on cases they don’t have time for, right? Wouldn’t you rather they concentrated on existing clients?

I have no problem with someone not taking a case on but I think it's terrible to ignore clients. In fact I wasn't even asking them to take a case on, and was requesting a short consultation to check through the paperwork. To me this damages its brand and makes me think this is an unreliable/untrustworthy firm.
