Whittinghams in Bridgend has been an important part of my sanity over the previous 15 months. Initially they handled a complicated probate case for me (I felt Lucy Mansfield went above and beyond to provide a personal service in a delicate matter which could have gone either way) and then they completed two house sales and one purchase.
Our original purchase unfortunately fell through. Howard and his team went to incredible lengths to ensure we were protected. His team are always available, they know the case files inside out, whoever you speak to, and you are kept up to date at every turn .
We were impressed by little things, like if they said "I will put it in the post" it would 100% be there at first post the next day. Or "We will get back to you tomorrow when we have an answer", and they always did.
You hear horror stories about solicitors not being able to be reached for weeks and weeks on the phone. This absolutely is not the case for Howard and his team.
I should also mention our purchase and sale were completing during the busiest conveyancing period known to the UK, and the team were *still* always contactable, and knew exactly what stage the process was, and it was relayed clearly.
Special mention to Alison Thomas (legal support) who kept me sane when the purchase was falling through.
Honestly this firm has kept me sane and supported our biggest financial dealings. I would never use anyone else now.

Me and my partner were first time buyers and were recomended by friends of ours to go to Whittinghams Solicitors. They were really good to us, when we went in they went through all the paperwork with us, kept in touch with us via Phone and E-mail.
Took the pain out of moving for us.
Highly Reccommended.
