I’m left fuming by the downright rude and disrespectful behaviour and utter lack of professionalism by the solicitor who my brother and I visited yesterday to certify some documents for probate. She was impatient, belligerent and appeared to be unaware of the basic courtesies required of professionals when dealing with clients. In the open office and waiting area, her abrupt and appalling behaviour to us, the paying clients, was witnessed by the two junior staff, betraying a lack of care not only by the solicitor but also the company as she is not the professional role model they should be providing!

Happy to confirm the above, as I was "the brother" there.
I say to this firm of solicitors - "Madam, we are your paying clients - we did not come over to look for a favour from you. We came to have a quick efficient, respectful service from you, which you could not provide".
If this firm lacks this ability - perjaps out a sign up out side to say that ... "CLIENTS WILLBE TREATED AS BEING STUPID - ENTER ON YOUR OWN RSK" ...

They have now closed. Good riddance. I thought it was me being over sensitive to a completely rude member of staff. No empathy, no sympathy to someone who had just lost their job. I am only sorry I didn't post a review before so that others didn't have to experience it. I was made to look like an idiot asking simple questions. It matters not now.

Very disappointed with abrasive, rude and aggressive manner of solicitor. Recently visited for advice as my mother had sadly died and her will was held at this solicitor. Initially met a trainee who was very polite, she took details went to check on the will. A different lady returned, no introduction, rude and aggressive manner. We asked for a very rough idea of price, and an explanation of the probate process, we received an evasive reply which it turned out was unnecessary as later discovered this company are part of another company who have a price estimate structure online. We could have been easily referred to this which had all the information needed,
The manner of this lady was appalling, particularly when dealing with recently bereaved clients. My husband and I were actually quite shocked and upset following our experience with Ackers, we have since removed the will. Having now looked at other reviews we see this is not an isolated incident as others have complained of a similar experience with the same solicitor. Would not recommend.

Conveyancing is no fun but getting it wrong would be disastrous. Tilly was thorough and pedantic in the way only a lawyer can be but very effective. Would use again.

I think your claim of ten years might not be entirely truthful, according to companies house they only incorporated in 2017.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Tilly was not willing to respond to queries in email and when asking for clarification over the phone, she shouted and hung up. Please avoid this solicitor as they are totally unprofessional and not willing to put in any work.

I rang for an appointment for will making and power of attorney,someone was supposed to ring back and I’m still waiting,utter incompetent,shocking every enquiry deserves a response.I hate the fact that in today’s world companies are still doing this.Every potential customer is important.

Utterly incompetent. They forgot to take a deposit from my buyer on exchange, despite me having to pay one to the house-builder I was buying from, so if it had fallen through I'd have been massively out of pocket. They were slow, annoyed the builder's solicitors with pointless questions that I'd already told them the answers to (turfing of the front garden etc.), kept adding new charges on despite having quoted me an all-inclusive fixed fee..... So atrocious I couldn't believe it.
