I should have read previous reviews before using Andrew Jackson Solicitors.
Like all the other reviews mine is also negative.
I’ve no doubt the solicitor I was dealing with is qualified - however I don’t feel that they were very proactive.
Always on the back foot and encouraging me to acquiesce to opposing legal team proposals. I felt that they were not working in my best interests or fighting my case. From the outset promoting mediation - which I felt was the easiest path for the solicitor and Andrew Jackson’s as opposed to what was best for me.
Like others I had to pay money up front. £750
After several months I discovered via a phone call to the office that the solicitor I had been dealing with had moved departments without informing me or allocating my case to anyone else. When I spoke to her manager she couldn’t understand why I was so upset.
I asked them to calculate what I owed them and took my business elsewhere there and then.
Three grand down and achieved absolutely nothing.
It’s a large practice with several offices and many solicitors, and like all businesses some staff better than others. The solicitor I was allocated left me feeling frustrated with their attitude and way of working.
Unfortunately you don’t know how good a solicitor is until you have handed over your money and the legal process is underway. In this instance it was a bad choice.
My advice is to do your research before engaging the services of a solicitor.

I required the advice service if a Solicitor in the family area of law. However i was faced with a solicitor who seemed to suffer with the Dunning–Kruger effect. Really poor, so went elsewhere.

I attempted to engage the services of their Court of Protection department for legal assistance, but it quickly became evident to me that the solicitor I was in contact with did not possess the real-world expertise required to comprehend a very complex situation.

Strange is the first word that comes to mind. I shall not name the Solicitor i dealt with. I wouldnt trust this lot with anything. I get shivers just thinking about it.
Avoid.
