If you are a fee paying Client and you want to be treated with utter contempt then go to their Fordingbridge office and make sure you get Claudia, the PA or maybe the clerk?..oh wait though, Claudia is never available on the phone and won't answer her emails she will however find plenty of time to go through paperwork , when you've decided to cut your losses and instruct a proper firm of solicitors, to make damn sure you pay a few measly pounds for "work" allegedly carried out, although no evidence of this will be produced when requested. Oh, and they don't respond to written complaints either. Looking at previous reviews, much as their response might be shock, because this is not how they usually do things Blah, blah, blah.....They really Do! Please don't go there.

Really poor throughout, I would not recommend these guys if you're looking for conveyancing services.
Firstly, they failed to send through hard copies of any documents, then objected when I returned forms with signatures scanned in and emailed- I paid a lot for their services and they couldn't even cover the cost of sending me some paper!
Had to nag constantly to receive any sort of update on the process, often receiving responses such as 'oh yes we had that a week ago'. My name was constantly misspelt in correspondence. The purchase price written on the contract was out by a factor of 100. I remain convinced that if I had not made contact, I would still be waiting today. These guys were not at all proactive in getting the process moving and at no point did I really feel like they were on my side. I have massive regrets that I chose to use Bonallack and Bishop. Honestly, avoid.

I’m really sorry you feel we let you down. With regard to sending electronic rather than hard copies, we routinely do so in the client’s interest for two reasons. Firstly to avoid the inevitable delay in the post – there are currently a number of delays in the conveyancing process and we try very hard to speed things up as much as possible. Secondly sending electronic copy avoids any possible risk of infection. In fact, email has been our default method of communication for some time – however this is always subject to the wishes of the client. So, if you did ask for hard copies and we failed to send them, my apologies.
And can I also apologise for any errors in the paperwork or any delay that we were responsible for. It’s not the kind of client service we aim to provide

Recently, I needed the help of legal council, concerning a council tax issue which has being going for about 18 months. For the appeal hearing, I needed to prepare the relevant documents and structure of arguments. Neil and Elizabeth were excellent!
Neil provided superior guidance, not sugar coating the situation, from fact finding, evaluating the situation in regards to potential gaps and pitfalls and choosing the best legal approach to support our case.
Elizabeth prepared in writing the chain of reasoning – short, focused, to the point - which we submitted prior to the hearing.
Neil’s and Elizabeth’s due diligence and their legal argumentation was so brilliant, that the opposite party agreed and withdrew all charges prior to the physical hearing. I would highly recommend Neil and Elizabeth. They are highly competent and it was a great pleasure working with them.

Used them when purchasing a house. HORRIBLE. Delt with Anita Wilson and she is absolutely rubbish. Not informed at any stage of the purchase of the house, even when the £200k is sent, no confirmation that money is received or anything.
5 months after purchase, emailed asking on an update on Land Registration and receive no response but an official land registration document from the register about 3 weeks later saying it's been completed. Which implies they completely forgot and didn't even have the decency to apologize or let me know it's been done. Date on the register confirms it was done a few days after my email.
Completion letter was also provided with the date off by 2 months. For someone whose job relies on attention to detail, there was no attention given to anything here.
Highly recommend you stay away and find someone else.

I used the Salisbury office of Bonallack and Bishop to help me with a boundary dispute. I was very happy with the outcome and they told me what was going on at every stage. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

This was the worst legal firm ever! They did so many professional mistakes which caused us losing because of their mistakes. Do not believe the good reviews as they are untrue.

I used these to action a divorce whilst I was preparing to leave the Army. It was all about the money and not getting the best for me. The Barrister who was hired on my behalf was only interested in getting a quick deal. I complained and was threatened with a letter which stated that I would be pursued for more money which was owed to them due to a mistake made by them when sorting out the divorce settlement. I would never recommend these at all! Stay clear!!

Used Bonnallck & Bishop for my divorce. Confused my ex wife with another customers details. They swapped solicitors half way through, that led to delays, repetition and cost. Communication and customer service was terrible.

I have had to spend the last three years suing this company for incompetent conveyancing. Their representatives treated us appallingly, at times insulting and belittling. We settled for less than our representative said the case was worth because we just could not stand the stress any longer.
