Terrible service, terrible attitude, slow or no response to enquiries. Treats customers as an inconvenience. Don't take my word for it search for reviews about Bowden Jones Solicitors online before you make the wise decision not to use this firm.

Terrible service. Make you chase them for updates a simple lease has taken 7 months solicitors coming and going. No reply to emails and messages. Always an excuse and then told its my fault... Looks like a firm in serious trouble with people constantly leaving. Will be taking matter up with law society as lease still not done

Hands down the worst firm i have ever used! Avoid at all costs. Nobody in this firm has a clue. I have been waiting for 8 weeks for a response and still nothing. They refuse to help and cant not understand how this firm is still in business! If you are using this firm or plan on using them i would highly recommend you not to! Absolute waste of time

Appalling service. I first contacted Bowden Jones in mid November 2018. It is now March 24 2019. The conveyancing on my purchase is not complete despite there being no estate agent mortgage company or chain involved. They have frequently ignored the vendors solicitors calls and emails as well as my own and clearly not read information passed on. Most damingly Bowden Jones have failed in four months to give any clear advice as to what documents they want for me to prove my funds for the purchase? even though I have frequently asked for clarification? and supplied complete information on the source of these funds. On February 20 after drip feed advice over one month they finally promised I only needed to provide two translated bank statements to clear all funds. After receiving these on March 3 they waited 3 full working weeks to reply?a matter that required me to email 7 times?only to ask for a whole host of additional and non-fund specific fund information. Please stay away from this company. Shambolic unprofessional and totally without regard for your personal circumstances.

Absolutely dreadful service - terrible communication. Had to chase and chase to get anything done. The solicitor was rude and treated us like an irritation rather than a paying client. Made a stressful buying and selling process 100000 times worse. Would never use them again and would advice other prospective customers to avoid.
