General Legal advice

Very disappointing service. Despite selling a small one-bedroom flat in Hampstead with no chain on either side, completion took over six months from the offer being accepted.
The solicitor and her paralegal acted largely as a slow mailbox or answering machine, with little proactive guidance or professional input. We ended up handling most of the negotiations ourselves, even consulting AI for advice. Only upon completion we discovered the property licensing fee was overlooked, and we were told it could not be recovered from the buyer.
Overall, we expected much more professional guidance, attention to detail and value for money. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this service.
