They used to be very good but over the years a number of solicitors have left. My recent experience has been poor. Having requested the return of my mother's will and death certificate by a signed for service they came back by normal post. Having registered a complaint with Heald Nickson who have now taken them over I was told that I am not a client despite the fact that they are storing our wills and have benefited from conveyencing of not only our house, but a second home which was both bought and sold, drafting our wills twice, powers of attorney and I also introduced my parents who had their wills and powers of attorney drawn up. The fact that I am not a client apparently absolves them of a duty of care. Based on my experience I will not be using them again and would not recommend them
