Not sure where to start really, after 2 years and many thousands of pounds just trying to kick off some litigation Healys have proven to be the biggest waste of time and money out of the dozen or so solicitors I have used for various business litigation.

After waiting weeks or months for replies to emails from DB, asking why I continue to be billed without showing me what was being done I pulled the plug.

The first email response was to tell me I still owed them money, but they will not send me the invoice or tell me what they did but insist that I pay them or they will hold my files hostage.

After over 2 months they refused my official request for my personal information, so I have reported them to the ICO.

After wasting another 2 months going back and forth with the owner JH, I am no further along and am now spending my time filling in online reviews in the hopes that anyone else looking to use their services avoids them as they are unethical and will bill you whatever they want whenever they want and look down their noses at you when you question anything they do.

Look elsewhere, plenty of firms with better communication and billing practices.

After 2 years of endless charges and nothing to show for these charges I have give up and taken my business to another firm.

D B talks a good game, very knowledgeable but his actions are extremely lacking and his estimates seriously wrong.

I would have to email repeatedly for an update, the staff in the office do not reply. The only time I get a reply is when I question costs, then you have his full attention.

With an estimate of £10k to get things moving with all parties we have made no progress. After nearly £14k in charges which I have struggled to pay due to ongoing illness I would have expected that all parties have been engaged but alas, nothing but charges for nothing.

I will be filing a complaint against your firm, I expected more from you.

I am now stating again with my other solicitor

You firm owes me £800 refund in fees but you insist I owe you £1200 but refuse to show what work was done. You threaten me with a lien on my file and debt collection on your imaginary balance.

Your should be ashamed of your actions, I hope this review tells potential clients what your firm is truly like to deal with.

Awful service from Christina Spencer. Ridiculous charges and arrogant attitude. Absolutely not worth the money!

Awful service by Catherine Taylor - my compliant was dismissed and shortly after I notice she has left the company, yet I was told her advice was correct, I think not. She caused me a lot of financial damage.

I have found this firm of solicitors to be rude, very bad at communicating and unprofessional on several occasions. There are lots of great family law firms in Brighton. This, in my opinion, is not one of them.
