I was contacted by the firm to ask if I wished to have a free consultation about my will, which had been made some years previously. I accepted the offer as my circumstances have changed. Sophie came to my home & spent a considerable amount of time explaining things to me & was careful to ascertain how I wished to dispose of my assets. This was reflected accurately in the will which she drafted & which I was happy to accept. She was patient in answering all of my queries & I did not feel pressured into accepting the proposed will. We also discussed making a Lasting Power of Attorney but later, after due consideration, I felt that the firm's charges were excessive so I chose not to proceed with that aspect. Sophie accepted my reasons & did not attempt to put any pressure on me to change my mind. All in all I felt that my business was handled in a very professional manner.

The writing of my will was carried out very quickly and efficiently. I basically wrote out my will as to how I wanted my assets distributed and the solicitor advised some changes and re-wrote it using the proper legal terms. I was sent a draft for me to check everything was correct and they drew the documents up for me to go in and sign. Simple. The whole process cost £300.

I used Hillyer McKeown for making a Will, their service was excellent, extremely professional and I used them during St John's Hospice 'Make a Will Month' so I donated £99 - all of which went to the Hospice. Thank you Sophie in the Chester Office for all your help and guidance, I would definitely recommend this Company and have no hesitation in rating them the 5 stars !!!

I can't recommend Andrew Hazeldine enough. He was absolutely brilliant at handling the sale of my house. He replied so quickly to any queries I had and he worked to have the sale complete as soon as possible even with the current disruption caused by Covid-19. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

The service from Andrew was second to none. He communicated very well, kept me informed on the progress of the purchase, responded to my emails promptly and explained everything I had questions about. The company also price matched the fees, which was an added bonus. Overall, an outstanding service, really cannot fault them. I was fortunate to have Andrew Hazeldine and his team assist me with my first property purchase. Calls were answered immediately and emails responded to in a timely fashion. It was of great benefit to have such a knowledgeable team on hand willing to answer any questions and offer advice. Due to the first class experience I had with them, I would say that their pricing is extremely competitive. Excellent service from start to finish. Staff went out of their way from different branch to help get documents copied and transferred across. Was kept in the loop the entire time and regularly updated via email. Any queries on my part and questions on theirs were dealt with in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Andrew and his team deserve a pat on the back for getting both sale and purchase over the line without a hitch.
Fees extremely reasonable and would highly recommend them to anyone!

The conveyancing team helped me to sell a house and I found everyone in the team to be supportive and gave good advice. They came back with questions throughout the transaction and explained everything really clearly so I know what to expect and how long things should take.
In fact selling the house took way longer than I expected but I felt I was in good hands and that they really cared about getting the house sold as soon as was possible under the circumstances.
This was the first time and I then switched from my usual solicitor of many years to Hillyer McKeown and they also gave me advice about probate.
I found that everyone I spoke to was friendly which was nice and different from other solicitors I have been involved with in the past. They were probably not the cheapest but I found they were at the end of a phone or quick to get back on email. I would definitely say get in touch with them and I have recommended them to friends and family as well.
