I have been a customer of Hodgkinsons for nearly 30 years and unfortunately they are now so big and corporate they don't care about customers and don't even have the courtesy to reply to a complaint , which I believe that I was justified in after having to pay out £3000 in fees on to of £1500 to buy back the front garden of the house my wife owned that when it was built Hodgkinsons did the land Conveyancing on.
But that wasn't the thing that upset me there was the 20 months for the house sale to go through as I battled to establish the ownership of the land without a great deal of help from Hodgkinsons then after that there were other items to tie up and basically cut a long story short their staff couldn't be bothered to make a new start to help me address the remaining problem their company caused
They really make you feel like they are doing you a favour.
Very sad.
