Avoid if possible. They were appointed by my lender to complete my remortgaging. A few days before completion I got an invoice for £84 (Parasitic as I wasn't informed about this charge) to transfer the funds to my bank account ( which is currently free of charge between all UK banks for all UK bank customers). After complaining that the charges were extortionate, they said I can avoid the charge if they post a check to me which I accepted.
The check should have been posted the next day after completion, 5 days later I haven't received the check.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with solicitors and I have never left a bad review in my life but I have had to put this review on so many times for different places to warn people.
Natwest used these for my remortgage. Simple straightforward case but this firm cannot cope. They lose forms, put wrong names in, don’t respond to calls emails, don’t update case management system they just don’t know what they are doing. I was told completion was Friday still not completed and it’s Wednesday evening!! I am paying two mortgages and I am incurring bank charges. No one at the firm cares at all and if you ever ever do get through they hang up on you because they don’t know the answers!! By googling it’s quite clear they are an incompetent firm who are going to have a lot of compensation to pay. I think they need their own complaints office!!! I have spoken to the legal ombudsman and the SRA who are aware of the volume of complaints. Solicitors should not take on work if they cannot cope with it. I have taken the afternoon off work to phone and get nowhere! So that afternoon will form part of my compensation claim too. I am furious, unwell and sick of chasing an incompetent firm. I hope the SRA take this further because it is simply not acceptable to stress people out and cause so much financial distress especially at this time of year!!!
Please do not ever use this firm they are incompetent

Absolutely unresponsive. Was assigned this firm under free legals from Natwest. They have a nice website, with case management, but they don't update with any useful information or reply to messages left on it. They take a week to look at anything, and only reply by letter. I have not managed to speak to a person at any point, not even once, or even by email. I have been in their IVR system for an hour on a couple of occasions.
My impression is there are no support staff to field messages, they just assign an hour a week for a solicitor to pick up the documents that have been uploaded, they action these, and wait at least another week for the next stage.
