I would rate zero stars if I could. My cousin used this mans services in December 2019 he does not have a clue what he is doing and talks utter nonsense. When he is challenged or questioned he then becomes very rude. I agree with all the negative reviews on here & definitely the one about his disgusting responses to reviews , shows how “professional he is” and also the one about slow service.
Oh and a polite notice to any prospective clients .. he keeps referring to “our team of solicitors” and “us” however he is a one man show he has no team. He isn’t even on the panel for most lenders/ banks.. speaks volumes that does! He is slow, rude, doesn’t know what he is doing and I think all of this is clearly reflected by the number of bad reviews he has received. I agree with the latest review about recommending Carvers Solicitors. They are a TEAM of highly qualified, professional solicitors. They respond very quickly and if they can’t They have have a process in place where someone else Will take a message and pass it on to your conveyancer.

I would suggest you ask your whole family to make bad reviews. My rizq is from Allah not from you or your family. The alleged bad service was provided to your imaginary cousin almost a year ago and there was no issue then but now after 8 months you wake up one morning to realise I have provided bas service to your imaginary cousin. You are not our client so I will simply ignore you other nonsense baseless assumption.

Appalling service. Ishrat Khan is a rude and arrogant man You can tell what kind of person he is by reading his replies to his clients who are unsatisfied. He cannot handle criticism and is unprofessional. I used his poor services last year and that was the biggest mistake I made. He is slow, like everyone on here has said. He does not reply when required and overcharges you.
He needs to remember he works for us, he is our solicitor and we are paying him for a service.
So guys all in all AVOID this “solicitor” go to Carvers in Fox & Goose instead. Lovely people and so so so good at that they do!! They treat you with respect and reply in a timely manner each and every time. Highly recommend them.

Making an anonymous review speak for itself. You claim you have used our service and allege we have overcharged you. As a firm of solicitors we are very tightly regulated. It would have been better for you to have made a complaint about alleged overcharging and alleged slow response a year ago. So be a man and make you name public so I then can respond with evidence to rebut your baseless allegation.

Very rude service. Takes really long to reply back to correspondence. Charged me an additional £500 still not sure if the bank needed it. Lack of updates from him. Called me 3 weeks later to get me to take down the review. I would look elsewhere for a solicitor; not worth paying a "cheaper price" for this bad service.

Zakir Ahmad chose to spread his disgust publicly. Like most companies, Ikon law CAN pay to remove such disgusting and baseless comments but we believe in openness and honesty; therefore we don’t remove bad comments but reply to them publicly.
We provide our services to Zakir Ahmad and his brother in connection with their purchase of a property. Zakir is a type of person who would call more than once almost everyday asking for updates. As we run a small office and take pride in providing a personal service, every time Zakir have called us, I personally talked to him. Only once I politely asked Zakir that calling everyday for updates will make the process even more slow as i have to answer his calls every time he would call. It’s not possible to update every clients every day and because we have to follow some extremely strict protocols required by our regulatory authority.
Regarding the £500 additional fess, we notified him in writing and explained the costs are for additional work and expenses to comply with the specific conditions of his mortgage. He replied asking for explanations which I provided and then he agreed to pay theses additional costs.
But if you have done this just to accumulate some reward points from google then I can only say: La3natalah e 3lal kaazibeen and Inna Lillah e wa inna elayh e Raajoon
