Absolutey amazing service found a flaw in my case to prove my innocence so massive amount of stress which caused me to lose my job etc has now gone as I really thought I was going to get pinned for a crime I didn't do

The service we received from Mary Monson Solicitors was excellent. My partner had been falsely accused of a crime he did not commit and after being severely let down by our initial solicitor which resulted in a wrongful conviction in the magistrates, we found Mary Monson to represent my partner in the Crown Court. Nick Ives was amazing. From the start, we immediately warmed to Nick and he made us feel that he understood and gave us the confidence we needed to go forward. We had a very long battle with postponements, CPS errors and an unavoidable last minute change of Barrister ( through no fault of Nick's). Nick was always on hand to guide us an provide reassurance - and with our previous experience with solicitors - I will admit that I required this more than most!. No matter when I called, he would answer or return my call very promptly. I would not hesitate in recommending Nick. He is a genuinely sincere person whose is passionate about his clients and providing the best possible service he can. I cannot thank him enough for his work and his support throughout the hardest of times.

Mary Monson’s provided a great service to us after our son was falsely accused of a crime he didn’t commit . They were understanding, non judgmental and supportive not just with my son but us as a family . They provided us with an amazing barrister and Natasha McGarr at Mary monson supported us through the whole legal process and three day trial were we got the not guilty verdict we wanted . I don’t think we would made it through this ordeal without Natasha , she is smart and supportive and always willing to answer concerns we had , explaining in a way we would understand. Definitely recommend them

I have been dealing with Mary Monson Solicitors for over a year now and they are continually professional and compassionate in what is a very stressful time of my life. They have kept me informed on all aspects of my case and answered all queries i have had. I have mostly dealt with Natasha Mcgarr, she has been fantastic and helped keep both my partner and myself calm throughout the procedure. I like to ask a lot of questions but this does not bother Natasha, she has remained patient and understanding at all times. I cant thank both Mary Monson Solicitors and Natasha for the help they have provided so far and i would definitely recommend them to anybody.

i was called by the police, callin me to cum for an interview regarding a incident that took place at work, My partner went online to find a good firm and came across Mary monson legal firm, Nick Ives was my legal representative and he was absolutely amazing the way he handled my case, nick was helpful and professional, he handled my case with care n kept me informed.he reassured me nt to worry at all n that he wud take care of it, the stressful moment i went thru, we both was going through since i receives the cal from the police called has eased off with nicks assurance. Nick Ives is an amazing and wud say a top legal representative,I hope i dnt need to come back again but if i need to i wud deffo cum bk to dem anytime to use mary monson legal services and will strongly recommend nick Ives.

My Mrs was called by the police, informing her they need to interview her regarding a incident that related to work, I got in touch with Mary monson legal firm, Nick Ives was our legal representative and he was absolutely amazing the way he handle our case, nick was consistent and professional at all times he was understanding compassionate and caring, he handled our case with great care kept us informed and assured, the distressful anxiety that we both was going through ever since the police called has eased off with nicks assurance. Nick Ives is a fantastic legal representative and I would come back anytime to use mary monson legal services and will strongly recommend nick Ives.

We were offered a fixed fee service by Joseph Cotrie-Monson as he took on a case for my family. The case involved a number of members of my family being asked to come into the office, and myself and my husband on many occasions too.
At all times we were treated with utmost respect, patience, forthrightness, support and everything else we needed. The legal team we worked with there were attentive and always responded to our phone calls and emails.
When your family faces a criminal investigation, it can be severely disrupting & devastating to your family - Mary Monson Solicitors were the greatest comfort at this time, took everything off us and dealt with absolutely everything on our behalf.
I would highly recommend them to anyone else in the same situation.

I received the highest level of professionalism throughout the 12 months of the case. Natasha Mcgarr was able to handle all my enquiries and resolve matters even out of office hours and whilst on annual leave, so this went above and beyond any expectation of mine or my family. I always felt that my matters where dealt with efficiently and competently and also a personal touch was applied.I never felt I was a number or that my concerns weren’t addressed or understood. I would highly recommend Mary monson solicitors and Natasha Mcgarr as they would be my first choice due to an excellent level of service received.

Fantastic service from Mary Monson solicitors from start to successful finish of my case. Nick put me at ease throughout, making sure I was fully aware of the process at all times and even taking calls from me outside working hours when I needed to chat about aspects of my case. False allegation

In April 2015 I faced a serious allegation which could destroy my business family and future. I contacted Mary Monsons Solicitors a few weeks after being arrested and interviewed, I had chosen not to have a solicitor present at my police interview. The solicitors did all they could to insure the investigation was carried out properly and that I was regularly informed of updates.

After six months I was charged and put on bail, the team at Mary Monson's worked hard to get undisclosed materials and prepare me for court. Joseph advised Judy karn QC to represent me. Bit by bit across the next year and a half the case was pulled apart and discredited. Graham Rishton and Nick Ives supported me throughout this time and worked tirelessly to retrieve disclosures that where not easily released, they reassured me that all that was possible was being done. They gave much time to my case, and I met with them on many occasions, they genuinely cared.

When the week of court arrived, the case was prepared and ready. Judy karn was the right recommendation for me, she shredded the prosecution case in three days. I don't have words for this amazing woman, the compassion, care and level of professionalism is unparalleled. She commands the respect of all in the courtroom and that is well deserved. I was looked after by genuine people that sort my best outcome. In my case I was shown to have told the truth from start to finish, the lies where pulled apart precisely and gently, so that no one was in doubt. Justice was done, I have my reputation and life back. I am truly greatful.

I turned to Mary Monson Solicitors after losing confidence in the previous firm I had representing me. Nick Ives in Mary Monson's London office took the lead on my case. I felt at all times that Nick knew what he was talking about and was pro-actively and energetically acting on my behalf (unlike the previous lot). He was able to explain the relevant bits of the law and exactly what to expect at every stage of the legal process in a way that removed a lot of the potential causes for stress in a criminal case. I felt that I was well advised at all times, and well represented at police station interview.

Although Mary Monson Solicitors was by no means the cheapest of the firms I made initial enquiries with, I chose them because I felt they had the best experience in the relevant area of law (indecent images) and because I found them the easiest to deal with during that initial phase – phone calls returned, emails responded to promptly with the information requested, etc. They were also able to offer me a fixed price for the case, which although expensive (to me, at any rate), took away the stress of not knowing how much I might end up paying.

I pleaded guilty to the charges, so the efforts of Nick Ives and the barristers (two different barristers over the course of the case due to scheduling difficulties) were focused on securing the best possible sentencing outcome. I have no cause for complaint in that area – it could have been a lot worse for me.

I do not regret my decision to engage Mary Monson Solicitors and in particular Nick Ives, and would recommend them to anybody in a similar situation.

I am currently dealing with Nick Ives of Mary Monson Solicitors in London, because he is managing the defence case for my husband who is facing criminal charges. We turned to Mary Monson Solicitors because we no longer had confidence in my husband’s previous lawyers. In complete contrast to the previous firm, Nick Ives is extremely energetic and engaged and enthusiastically supportive, and the barrister with whom he is working, Soraya Lawrence, is very clear-minded and also entirely supportive. Both are utterly professional, and experienced in defending this sort of case. Although virtually all the evidence on both sides was already prepared, Nick and Soraya immediately went through it thoroughly and picked out points where they thought that our presentation should be improved; they have been pro-active in obtaining access to the police materials and in making a court submission; and they rapidly obtained important expert technical advice on the computer aspects of the case (which our previous lawyers had repeatedly failed to do). It is always a pleasure dealing with them, and we feel much less stress about the case now that they are dealing with it, because we have complete confidence that they will defend it as well as possible.

Service is not cheap as the overall process will cost me ~£13000, but I hope that it will help me going through the process and resolve it with the best possible outcome.
So far I have only had two face to face meetings, one telephone call and a few emails, but if the results are good I think money will be well spent.

Mary Monson law firm is second to none giving an excellent service in what was quite a complicated case at times.They always delivered a prompt & immediate response to emails,phone calls & correspondence,kept us very much updated & in the picture on all proceedings.This is the second time that Mary Monson solicitors have been used by us & we are very grateful & satisfied for all the hard work they put in,all the liaising with us on all aspects of the case before & after the proceedings.I beleive the barrister was Mr Williamson who was very informative & helpful at court & Simon Francis the solicitor worked extremely hard & vigilantly to ensure all documentation etc was in place for the case.I would highly recommend this law firm for the professional & compassionate way in which our case was dealt with.

I approached Mary Monson Solicitors part way through a complex commercial dispute. The team were refreshing to deal with - a huge change to the majority of law firms I’ve dealt with in my twenty years of business.

Nick Ives in particular was extremely friendly, intelligent and professional - understood my case and requirements immediately with quick, efficient communication at all times.

I’m a hard man to please but will highly recommend MMS to any friends or colleagues. And to top it off, they charge a fair, honest price.

I had a very harrowing case that came to an end July 2017 I used Mary monson solictors to defend me. My solicitor was Nick Ives and barrister was Scott Coughtrie both of them worked hard and were very professional especially Nick who was always there for me and very supportive and it was Nick that found the information that won the case for me.
I will always be grateful to Mary Monson especially to Nick Ives and would highly recommend this law firm.

If you have had accusations made against you regarding indecent images then I would highly recommend Mary Monson solicitors. They come across as very professional and reputable on their website and I have found the same to be true when meeting them in person.

Throughout my meetings with them, I always feel relaxed and able to talk about difficult subjects when discussing my case. The past year has been very challenging but knowing that I have a knowledgeable solicitor in my corner has really helped me to maintain clarity and confidence.

Mary Monson solicitors have kept me informed and I have been reassured at every step of the process. I also had the legal processes explained concisely to me, which has been very helpful as I had no understanding of the legal proceedings and didn't know what to do. Also, they are very quick to respond when I have questions.

I have felt protected from police harassment as there was an incident where I was told that I was not going to be arrested, but then was arrested for no specific reason. After my solicitor spoke to the officer in charge, I was de-arrested immediately. This reassured me that Mary Monson solicitors were a great choice!

Also. I have not had to worry about cumulative costs as I was offered a very fair one-off price for all the services that I required.

I would sum up Mary Monson solicitors as friendly, professional and affordable.

So far I have an excellent service from Mary Monson and I am sure it will continue to be so. I went to this firm after being very dissatisfied with a previous one, who seemed to be working for the prosecution rather than for me. After a serious failure to follow my instructions from those lawyers, I searched for an alternative team and there is when I found Nick Ives, who immediately saw the preposterous criminal case against me and set to work on a suitable defence line. Nick is professional, intelligent and competent but also warm and friendly, responding prompting to emails and taking the initiative. My case is not yet over as we asked for an adjournment so as to better prepare for the trial but I have full confidence that with Nick Ives and Soraya, the barrister he found for me, and who nis also a top professional, i will get the results that my innocence deserves. The charges for my case were 25,000 pounds, with some additional charges for experts report. I wholeheartedly recommend this firm on my experience.

i googled to find a good lawyer to represent me
i chose laura moore from the london office of mary monson solicitors
i spoke to her then had a face to face consultation and chose her to represent me, she always kept me updated as to what was happening with my case by phone emails and face to face consultations as it lasted 4 months
on her advice i chose to have a barrister to represent me in court
i was found not guilty
i would highly recommend her to my friends and family and would always use her in future
as for fees i was charged £3000 as i have never used a lawyer before so i am not sure about fees it seemed reasonable

This is a very responsive company until you pay the fee note, after that you can expect a large amount of silence. I have called up to three times a day to be told “she doesn’t start till ten”, “she is in a meeting” and “she finishes at three”. After eight weeks of this I received a two line email! I even signed up to LinkenIn to contact Ms Monson herself but alas after three Inmails not a single response.
The word of a highly motivated accuser against me and very luckily an independent witness, what could go wrong? My Barrister. He was allocated to me the week before my case after eleven months of planning. He seemed very distracted on the day of my hearing. The questioning was mainly unrelated to my case and very disjointed. You would have been excused for thinking he was defending a different case. All this for a mere £2000 + Vat even though the VAT was charged but not declared on the invoice. I guess he was dreaming about what to do with his two grand.
I would have no hesitation in recommending these people to anyone I disliked intensely. Unfortunately the service was so poor I am now taking this up with the SRA.

I used Mary Monson solicitors recently to represent me in a no insurance motoring case and i have to say the service was excellent from day one ad the outcome better than expected.

I had spoken to and compared around 4 or 5 other firms, including two who came recommended to me, and due to the interest Mary Monson showed in my case and the fact they made my relatively small case feel just as important as any other i opted to instruct them, Mary monson communicated with me brilliantly from the first email i sent them with the details of the case and remained, unlike some of the other firms, optimistic every step of the way. They remained confident but realistic about my case and managed to get the charges dropped at the first hearing before it went to trial.

I dealt with Vaqas and Joseph based out of the Manchester office and was invited in for a free, no obligation consultation before i instructed them and there where no push sales tactics at the end of the meeting.

Mary Monson really know their stuff, They are caring and make you feel confident in a time of great stress and worry. They are also clear about what they feel is the best tactical approach in order to get the best outcome.

I highly recommend Mary Monson to anyone in need of quality solicitors. When it comes to your life and legal issues you can not take chances with just any solicitors.
I felt they were genuine, considerate,professional and nice people. Always returned my calls and kept me informed. Thanking God my friend informed me when I had a court case coming up to stop with cowboy solicitors and do my research which i did. And I had a positive outcome Mary Monsons are a very good firm

I was accused of drink driving and they got me off. They found out that some of the paperwork had been filled out wrong on the summons and so the case against me was dropped! They were efficient and I felt they really cared what happened to me.
