Provided seriously inaccurate and unverified information via a secretary, despite charging Partner rates. This caused considerable stress. Was not proactive in any area - all constructive communication and progress with police was instigated directly by me. Did not confirm the requirement to answer bail which had to be sorted by me making numerous phone calls direct to the police. Did not achieve the return of property crucial to livelihood despite police stating they had finished with it - I achieved this in 48 hours. Failed to clarify confusion between police authorities after transfer from one police region to another. Informed us of the outcome of the serious matter by letter, days after the police had notified us directly. Charged more than twice amount estimated despite very poor service.

Slow to act. Quick to blame other solicitors. Always ready with excuses about delays.
