If I could give zero I would. We had a horrendous time with Roger McLernon as our solicitor. Impossible to communicate with. He did not respond to emails or phone calls. At every step of the way he told us that he was awaiting documents that he had requested. Each of these documents we ended up chasing and obtaining ourselves after discovering that Roger had not in fact requested them at all. We had constant lies and excuses and what should have been a straightforward sale turned into an extremely stressful ordeal. We were constantly fobbed off by Michelle and Roger. Our infuriated purchaser pulled out in the end due to multiple unnecessary delays.

When I bought my last house the solicitor was awful so I know what's it's like to get bad service. I used McLernon Moynagh this time however and I found them friendly and VERY good value for money. I can't believe they are so cheap and yet the service was great. Thanks Roger.

It took nearly a year to get deeds for my property. One can accept that there may be problems in gaining a response from the Land Registry but not getting answers to queries whether by phone, email or letter from a solicitor does underline the poor quality of service and customer care.

I recently purchased a house and instructed Roger to carry out the conveyancing. He was excellent and the purchase was completed smoothly and quickly. I would highly recommend Roger.

Avoid this solicitor at all costs. We have been waiting for them to complete our "quick sale" for 5 months. They don't answer their phones nor respond to any other communications. We have had estate agents phoning us to ask if we'd heard anything from them. When they finally sent through documentation it was incomplete. It took us to ask them to give us all documentation they had so that we could personally bring it to another solicitor for them to actually start doing something. When I mentioned to an estate agent we were dealing with Roger Mclernon they actually said "we have nothing but problems with them". In a word - awful.

We dealt with Roger and Michelle for our sale and purchase. They were both great. The estate agents put a lot of pressure on us but they dealt with everything on our behalf. They acted in a professional manner and stuck to all the dates that was agreed at our consultation. Rogers knowledge of boundary and deeds matters was very reassuring and was able to fix an issue with ease in the registry of deed. We would highly recommend this firm.

Dreadful service, virtually impossible to speak to, when leaving messages with reception our calls were not returned and our emails were ignored. When updates were given as to current status of conveyance we were frequently lied to only to later find out work had not been done, searches had not been completed, deeds had not been requested etc. Stretched what should have been a simple conveyance out to several months putting the whole sale at risk.
Hiring McLernon Moynagh was a huge mistake which caused us significant amounts of stress. We will never use their service again and would encourage others to avoid.

I was very lucky to have Ciaran Moynagh of Mcleron Moynagh Solicitors called to my aid, He done everything in his power to help get me the help i needed, He went way past his call of duty and really understood how much I struggled with my mental health and never once made me feel like he was judging me, I have been very pleased with the service he gave and think he is one of the best in the crimminal law field.

Used this firm on several occasions. Rogers expertise in land matters is fantastic and always right. The other partner has provided straight forward, accurate and much need advise on family law and criminal law to me at an extremely good price. Could not recommend this new age firm more!

When I dealt with Mr. McLernon over the matter of a will I found him to be warm, respectful and helpful-it was the 1st time I had ever dealt with a solicitor so I was quite nervous. Mr. McLernon made me feel at ease from the start. I would recommend him to anyone.

I hired Roger McLernon of McLernon & Moynagh Solicitors to carry out the conveyancing work on a house purchase. Whilst carrying out the work to a satisfactory standard within a reasonable time-frame, I was far from impressed with Mr. McLernon's habit of talking over the top of me when I was attempting to speak on the phone. When the conveyancing process was close to finalisation he rang and informed me of some related details, remarking that my purchased house was a "leasehold property". I had to correct him by informing him that it was not a leasehold property, but was in fact a "freehold property". He insisted that it was a leasehold, and I disagreed; so he went away, came back, and instead of offering an apology for being wrong, he instead asked a question, and whilst I was attempting to answer he became aggressive and domineering, and attempted to silence me with a number of very sharp and abrupt interjections, which were experienced as a very obvious attempt to intimidate and subdue.
Despite carrying out my conveyancing work to satisfaction, I wasn't happy with Mr. McLernon's gratuitously aggressive and domineering behaviour, and requested that he forward my house deeds immediately, instead of keeping them in his safe for safekeeping, which he did. As a result of my experience of Roger McLernon's temperamental disposition I shall not be using McLernon & Moynagh Solicitors again, which is regrettable.
