Platt tried to prevent me from exposing them on TrustPilot and went to lengths to impersonate me on Google Reviews
This happened over 10 years ago but the pain is still raw -like it was just yesterday.
I was a tenant of a council for over 10 years and was treated worst than a dog. The Government back then introduced downsizing and this council i was with tried everything in their power to kick me out of my home - which i worked long and hard for. My rent was never late. I had a racist neighbour that had been stalking and harassing me- which the council failed to deal with.
The property was not fitted with adquate heating and i appealed to them about it and was refused and kept advising they were for families. I had spent money on the property over the years trying to make it homely ( although i did not have money to which i could afford radiators). It was the time when the UK faced its worse winter in history. I called and called the council, begging them for heating and each time my pleas where ingored. Once day whilst on the phone to my family member , i suddenly found that i could not breathe . I infact suffered a severe panic attack, this continue for several weeks, parametics was constantly called. I continued to contact the council and whilst pleading on a call to my housing officier , my panic attack began again, she was cold, she was callous!
Fast forward - some many things transpired, including being admitted into hospital . Eventually i relented because my health had taken a beaten because of all what the council did to force me from my home. I moved into another property-- whom i later found the association was close friends with the one previous. I was set upon like flys to a nest. I was racially harassed and had threats made towards me . I reported it to the council and was patronised and told that my illness is a factor and i should be quiet. My safety was imperative at that point, so i sent them an email advising i am terminating my tenancy and within a week , left the property. Since then they where determined to make my life difficult i was blacklisted from obtaining a home. I approached Platt Solicitors with evidence including Police references, emails sent to the council, photographs, CCTV footage -everything, but nothing can come close to how extremely unhelpful they where. The moment they heard that it was the council, they crawled into their shell like a crab. I remained homeless fora further 6 months and had to fight and fight to obtain a property . The injustice that i had to endure and was made to feel like i was the preparator and not the victim and Platt who was suppse to protect such injustice failed me on EVERY level all because i would not endure the racial harassment that i suffered at the two properties . I will never recommend this firm to anyone of colour. The worse firm , i would not recommend anyone of race to contact this firm if they are experiencing racial hatred or injustices made by councils

Terrible!!! Avoid at all COSTS if they had 0 stars they would get this. We are complaining to Solicitor Regulator Authority about Platt and Fishwick as they handled our case appallingly and are still handling now due to us complaining about them they are dragging our case out so we pay as much money to them as possible. They are just after your money and don't care about your case at all. Terrible service from them. I wish we would of read the reviews first!!!

Do NOT use this law firm for your personal injury claim . They totally messed up my genuine claim for an injury sustained at work . Put my claim in the wrong category and caused it to go to court ! The defendants solicitors knew they had messed up and even suggested I dye my own solicitor . In fact my own solicitor even informed me of my right to sue him and in the end had to forgo his fee . Lazy attitude towards my claim got the impression he was only in it for his pay out . Seriously incompetent in my opinion and will not look after your best interests . I also had the distinct impression that the council who represented me was trying to protect his incompetence .
