i had 2 services one was making a will and the other was an affidavit to get married in cyprus. i had 2 different lawyers one was Michelle loule i think that was her last name and the other ws Aileen chapman. I was really pleased with service recieved from both

I used the team led by Debbie to sell my house in Derbyshire and buy a house in Hampshire. The service I received from each member of the team was both friendly and efficient. They kept me informed throughout the process and both understood the stress involved and treated me accordingly. I cannot praise and thank them enough.

The service was terrible from this company, I found them to be very unapproachable and patronising, they charged me four times as much as was originally quoted, some of which was acceptable however the majority was not, the fees were overinflated and did not reflect the work that was needed to be done at all. The whole experience for us was difficult and too drawn out. The conveyancor we dealt with was very difficult to speak to, often talking to us as if we were criminals and not clients, she refularly spelled our names wrong on paperwork and even used the wrong name completely on one occasion. It hardly inspired a feeling of confidence. We feel the advice provided was inaccurate and often plain wrong, not the sort of thing we would expect from someone who claims to be a professional.

I would serious recommend that you avoid this solicitors. The service I I received was appalling to say the very least. To be honest I could have done a better job myself. I am truly in deficit due to their lack of Duty of Care.

Absolutely impeccable service, all members of staff are so polite, friendly and helpful they actually became friends. The service provided is efficient and very professional and is followed to the letter from your instructions. I came to this company on recommendation from a friend as my current solicitor were doing nothing and I wished I had come to these from the start. I cannot fault any part of my experience I was always fully informed of the situation and found that I was definitely getting superb value for money. I cannot thank the team at Chapman and chubb for getting me the outcome I wanted in such a short time. I would recommend this great team every time and would never go to anyone else should I need help again.

I would avoid this solicitors. The service i and my family received was terrible to say the least. They want 25% of your claim for basically doing nothing. I really wish i had gone elsewhere. They do not stick to there own terms and conditions.

Debbie and Chris have dealt with 2 conveyances for us over the past year and we have been so impressed with their professionalism and efficiency, whilst at the same time being approachable and friendly.
They are both head and shoulders above the other solicitors we have used previously, always replying to messages and emails quickly, and understanding the stresses that come with house moves.
We would highly recommend Chapman and Chubb and will definitely use them in the future.

Fantastic service and very friendly staff, I will definitely use them in the future. I used them as I had previously used a cheap conveyancing company found online; never again, they were useless, I had loads of problems particularly in contacting them. They mainly fobbed off any queries and were totally inadequate in explaining any progress in my purchase. With this firm I could log in online and see exactly what was being done with regards to my transaction.

I couldn't fault this firm. Aileen Chapman dealt with my matter herself. I was kept informed at every stage of my matter and any queries I had were answered promptly. I had seen the review on this site of QualitySolicitors Chapman & Chubb by 'FathersFor Justice' but had been recommended to them by a friend who said to ignore it as it was probably by someone who had not got the result from his matter he thought he deserved. From the outset I found that all the staff I had contact with were extremely friendly and approachable, not like the firm I used for a house sale who seemed think they were ‘a cut above the rest’ and treated me as such.
I had made some general enquiries with other local firms and found their charges to be more than competitive. I in fact spoke to someone yesterday evening who had been charged more than double what I had for almost the same work and didn’t believe what my case cost me; they had however used a large firm in Nottingham.

£170 per hour, £7.50 for text, £7.50 for reply by text, £17 per letter in or out.
Service was average. At face to face meetings felt like things might progress iaw my expectations, although receiving updates or changes in circumstances were not provided. It felt like I did all the chasing (at additional cost) and was at times like pulling teeth trying to speak to Aileen on the phone. My case required proactive counsel in order that I could resolve a situation to have contact with my son. However, letters sent were few and far between and weeks passed that seemed wasted. All correspondence was one step behind what was actually happening. Disappointed to have spent the best part of £1000 to achieve nothing - and I didn't even get to the court stage!

A very good company to use, from the first telephone contact to the end result. They efficiently and competently organised my Fathers probate when he died and two powers of attorney for me and my wife. The bill was acceptable and if am honest was a little less than I expected.
