The service I received (for the purchase of a bungalow with no buying chains at either end) was acceptable but I feel my solicitor should have been more proactive rather than waiting for things to happen. If things are not moving along as smoothly as they should, attempts should be made to establish the reasons for any apparent delays and the outcomes reported to the client.
