After a lack lustre house conveyance that was allowed to drag on without due reason the exchange and complete day arrived, we called into Lockings office in the morning to check all was ok as we had 3 lines of information to given on the transfer. They transferred the money using only 2 lines of info! The money was lost for 4 days . The stress was unbelievable! No apology was given!

The only negative thing we found was that when things seemed to be dragging their heels, no one approached us to offer an explanation until we contacted your office so it was reactive rather than proactive. The delays, it seems, were wholly down the the purchasers solicitor and the log jam removed after some prodding. Other than that the process was fairly seamless and painfree.

All I will say is this “if every law firm worked as efficiently as yours, it would’ve have took what seemed like for ever to move house” the sellers solicitor are absolutely useless and I wouldn’t have paid them in fresh air !!! On the other hand Lynsey and her team are like a swish watch.

The purchase was completed on 23rd last month.
In a few months before we have started to mortgage, but mortgage has not to be issued before the time of developer inform us to complete the purchase, so we can only pay first,
Then continue to loan. So now we continue to make mortgage thant's called remortgage.

The whole team were fantastic, as I spoke to Brydie a lot as well. I found everyone to be incredibly helpful and genuinely felt very informed throughout. The regular emails with the useful docs were brilliant, the mailed forms were always received in good time and clear on what I had to do. My fiancé has been selling his house at the same time and his solicitors were not a patch on you guys-they are slow, always lacking details and information, as well as regularly getting things confused, it really compounded how important it is to have a reliable team working for you. And that’s what you have been through out for me- I could not rate you high enough.

Our work for lockings was only a house sale and from start to finish we where informed of what was going on at all times .Lynsey Schofields staff where very helpful to us when we visited the office and we where updated of what was going on with the sale of the house on a regular basis . All in all from our side of the sale it was made very easy by Lynsey Schofield and her team .

Richard Allen took the time to explain things clearly, he made sure all my queries were fully answered, kept me informed of progress of the conveyance and kept chasing all the relevant parties in an effort to get my case resolved as soon as possible. Can't thank Richard Allen enough.
