All I will say is this “if every law firm worked as efficiently as yours, it would’ve have took what seemed like for ever to move house” the sellers solicitor are absolutely useless and I wouldn’t have paid them in fresh air !!! On the other hand Lynsey and her team are like a swish watch.

I felt like it was a friendship more than a business contract. Moving house at my age is not easy and I was given both respect and genuine help. In parallel another elderly member of my family was moving from the South Coast to Outer Manchester and had very much inferior service which made her move very trying

The purchase was completed on 23rd last month.
In a few months before we have started to mortgage, but mortgage has not to be issued before the time of developer inform us to complete the purchase, so we can only pay first,
Then continue to loan. So now we continue to make mortgage thant's called remortgage.
Now we need a lawyer to help us complete the loan. Please provide your quotation and service.

The whole team were fantastic, as I spoke to Brydie a lot as well. I found everyone to be incredibly helpful and genuinely felt very informed throughout. The regular emails with the useful docs were brilliant, the mailed forms were always received in good time and clear on what I had to do. My fiancé has been selling his house at the same time and his solicitors were not a patch on you guys-they are slow, always lacking details and information, as well as regularly getting things confused, it really compounded how important it is to have a reliable team working for you. And that’s what you have been through out for me- I could not rate you high enough.

Really not happy at all. We’ve used this solicitors for the sale of our property. We provided them with a huge envelope full of documentation they needed as we only purchased this house two years ago so we still had everything needed to complete the sale. It seems they haven’t even bothered to look through this as we are still being asked questions relating to everything they should already know as they have this to hand.

Too many people dealing with this it seems and when something is done this isn’t passed on and we are asked again. We’ve given our ID 3 times when they claimed they didn’t receive this even though we have emails proving it was received.

We supplied the land registry certificate and yet this wasn’t noted and it was later applied for again, such a waste of everyone’s time.

We have cash buyers, we agreed the sale on the 4th of December. 4 weeks ago we were told it would be 6-8 weeks until completion, last week we are told 8-10 weeks now?? Just a shambles.

Almost 9 weeks and we are still being asked questions they have the answers to. We’ve complained twice and both times been assured the manager would call us back, needless to say we’ve not had any call back.

With our experience I wouldn’t use them again nor would I recommend them to future sellers unless you want to wait triple the time you should.

We were very impressed with the service we received from Nicola when making our Wills. She was unfailingly helpful ; gave excellent advice and approached our case with sensitivity. We were kept informed of each stage in the process together with the new protocols to be used in getting the documents witnessed during the pandemic. She responded promptly to all our enquiries. We also dealt with the Admin team on two occasions and also found them to be very helpful and professional. We would recommend Nicola and 'Lockings' to others seeking to make a will with no hesitation.

We have used Lockings since 1977, for every property purchase and sale we have had. We always recommend them, an the rest of our family do too. We were kept upto date on all aspects of our purchase. All the questions we asked were answered quickly and efficiently.

After a lack lustre house conveyance that was allowed to drag on without due reason the exchange and complete day arrived, we called into Lockings office in the morning to check all was ok as we had 3 lines of information to given on the transfer. They transferred the money using only 2 lines of info! The money was lost for 4 days . The stress was unbelievable! No apology was given!

Moving house is very stressful but Craig was always available to answer any queries which is just what you want when you are in a situation where you are dependant on others and feel a little out of control. I always felt I had complete confidence that Craig was acting in my best intrrests

The only negative thing we found was that when things seemed to be dragging their heels, no one approached us to offer an explanation until we contacted your office so it was reactive rather than proactive. The delays, it seems, were wholly down the the purchasers solicitor and the log jam removed after some prodding. Other than that the process was fairly seamless and painfree.
