Nice people and reasonable costs but not getting any response now to e-mails or phone calls after months and the website is unobtainable at the moment with a 'this site can't be reached' message. Shame as they seemed really good to start with can anybody else shed light on what is happening?

Compassionate and empathic when dealing with Lasting Power of Attorney for my parents. Explained a complex process in an accessible way. There was genuine kindness and human warmth in dealing with my parents. Highly recommended.

We have used Rich & Carr successfully many times before. But the last experience was dreadful. They were so slow and if you challenged them the fee earner would accuse us of being 'inpatient having no compassion or understanding in these difficult times'. We were told we were getting more than our share of time allocated and that at best we can only expect 30 mins of his time per week, ‘Shocking’ and based on this we estimated it would take approx. 6 months to get to the point of completion. We challenged this, this didn't go well and they de-instructed themselves with a rather emotional and insulting two-page letter, not what you expect when paying for a service, which if they had not got the capacity to take on, they should have made us aware at the point of instruction. So, we took our services else where and completed in 9 weeks working with a solicitor who would take our calls and answer our questions promptly. We will not be using Rich & Carr again, and I would suggest to others based on ‘our’ personal experience to consider alternative conveyancing solicitors.

Awful. We are on the receiving end of these solicitors. They are rude and unhelpful, have delayed the process by not responding to simple enquiries and won’t return calls. The best bit is they think they are working in the 1970s as they only respond by letter which delays everything. Avoid if you want a quick and well communicated process !

Well done to John Fowlds and Kathy Guest for the absolutely wonderful, highly efficient and very professional service they gave me in connection with selling the flat of my mother, for whom I act under a Lasting Power of Attorney for her financial and property affairs.
I really could not have asked for a better and more helpful conveyancing specialist than Rich & Carr!

I would like to put on record my disappointment with the level of service my Husband and I received from Rich and Carr and we certainly would not recommend them. What was a relatively simple agreement between two parties turned into a long drawn out affair. We constantly had to chase for information, phone calls were not returned and even although we had taken a lot of trouble to arrange a date to meet with our solicitor - he found he had a more important meeting to attend. So all in all it was not what we were expecting from Rich & Carr. Then just to add insult to injury the invoice arrived before any money had even been transferred to us. Very poor service indeed.

Fantastic Law Firm. Mr David Roberts is certainly the man you need fighting your corner in any Litigation matter. He is professional, efficient and reassuring. I was able to get a fantastic result and even though it wasn't the most straightforward of matters, it was dealt superbly. I would certainly never hesitate to use Rich and Carr again. Cannot recommend enough.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Sabera Dassu in order to amend my Will and to deal with Land Registry queries.
At all meetings, I found Sabera to be efficient and professional. In addition, her manner was always pleasant and extremely caring. Nothing was too much trouble for her and, indeed, she went out of her way to be extra helpful.
It was due to Sabera's professionalism and kindness, that I decided to use Rich and Carr for Conveyancing.
For this, I had to deal with Tina Rana. Once again, everything has progressed smoothly and efficiently.
Many thanks to both professional ladies. You are a credit to the Firm of Rich and Carr.

Had these people do a simple Register Power of Attorney. Very poor service. Made numerous mistakes. Told me they had everything they needed but had missed major details. Had to continually chase to get anything done. Don't reply to messages, phone calls. Will never go near them again.

Thank you for this review. We do accept without reservation that not everything went smoothly with this transaction, largely because the solicitor initially instructed left this practice very suddenly. However, another factor clearly at play was that the clients were adamant on more that one occasion that we had been storing the relevant original document, which, despite several searches, we could not trace. It was later brought in to the office some weeks/months after the original enquiry by the gentleman who has written this review, but not before we had of course spent some considerable time looking for something which we did not hold and then drafting alternative documentation to address this apparent problem. He also fails to mention that, despite having undertaken this additional work, we made an allowance against our fees, which was accepted, in recognition of the dificulties experienced. We do feel that, having accepted that gesture of goodwill, it is unfair that this type of review is posted, telling only a part of the story..

What you do not state is that you made several mistakes, such as incorrect names, said that you had everything you needed, twice, when you had not. And if I had not chased you this would probably still not have been registered. I have also recently found out that you forgot to send the registration number out with the Power of Attourney forms and you also did not advise that the registration fee could be halved due to the clients financial circumstances. You have also still not responded to my last email. I call this a poor service.

This matter has been satisfactorily resolved by the prompt action of one on the senior partners.
Thank you

Really poor service. Responsiveness and professionalism doesnt exist. 10 weeks into a cash purchase of a chain free property and only feedback is searches have been completed. Exchange and completion dates still cant be confirmed

I am one of the Dirctors of Rich & Carr and would like to respond to the review by Anonymous of 4th October, which has just been brought to my attention. We take all reviews very seriously and I wish to investigate this one with the fee-earner handling the transaction. Please provide me with sufficient information to enable me to identify the transaction and the fee-earner. Many thanks.

Rich and Carr provided us with a great service when we were buying our first property. As first time buyers is was a daunting time and they helped us every step of the way. Claire at the baby office was very professional and informative and nothing was to much trouble for her. We had the keys in 6 weeks and we could not be happier.

Very poor service. After I complained to the mediationsoffice about the very poor service at Rich and Carr they wrote and told me that they would investigate on 13.02.2016 to date NO results and NO change in the service...I receive emails telling me that they will do something but...they don't do it.
