I had the displeasure of dealing with the office nepo hire, Anand Virdi for a small verification job. He took great exception to being questioned on fees post which the level of professionalism nosedived. Regardless of differing viewpoints, the style of communication was appalling. You’ll see some of this in responses to their negative reviews on Google as well. Their complaints process requires you to complain to the person you’re complaining about which clearly gets you nowhere. Some samples of communication which required a complaint to the Ombudsman who in turn had to ask him to make a formal apology: "I refer to our conversation where you failed to comprehend ...", "it was not cost effective for me to address your concerns" etc.

Very slow in replying to emails. Not proactive, I had to initially write to the courts for an earlier hearing myself. Barrister appointed didn’t seem to have understood case before hearing and turned up late. Not able to provide advice on what t expect next. No longer reply to my emails now all money is paid.

The appeal was won with no trouble. That too we secured an in-country right of appeal when technically the appeal should have been fought from outside the UK. This very client gave us a 4 star review and then has altered to a one star review which init self says it all.

Zero stars! STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM THEY ARE ALL CON ARTISTS!! I’m in the process of reporting them to the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority). They have lied stolen money from my family and over charged. This is not on and we’ll be dealt with!

avoid this firm at all costs!
Donna Williams gave me incorrect advice and made me pay an absolute fortune for awful service. Had to go elsewhere and pay a further amount, but at least got good service there.
When I would call to complain about her she would hang the phone up on me
Awful

My husband and I made our wills with this company in the early 1990s and they offered to store them for safe-keeping in their vaults on our behalf. Recently we requested access because unfortunately our named executor had passed away and we needed to update the wills. We were horrified to learn that they did not have our wills, or any record of them. We do not have a receipt after 25 years or so, and they were totally uninterested in our protestations. Money down the drain. Sad and angry with ourselves for not asking for copies at the time. Their attitude was 'tough.'

I spoke to Derek Rosenblatt regarding the debtor who doesn't hold any assets in the UK (we have a judgement against him) but has them in other EU countries. He told me that "we got stuffed" and there's nothing else we can do. When I enquired about the extension of the judgement to other EU countries, he arrogantly stated that I haven't read hundreds of law books he did and that I should stop questioning his expertise. This lawyer didn't know that there is a European Enforcement Order that we can get in the UK and that is accepted in courts all over the EU and with this Order we can get access to debtor's assets overseas. It took us half an hour of online research to find everything about the procedure. Mr Derek Rosenblatt is a disgrace to the profession.

I totally agree with this comment. I found him to be arrogant, obnoxious, rude (shouting at clients) and behind the times. He should resign as he clearly does not enjoy this work. His Office Manager is also a very rude and abrupt individual.

I also agree, sadly. So far our treatment by this man has been abrupt, rude and at times he has been evasive. He has no patience to explain things to lay people. Sometimes we ask him a direct question and he avoids answering by blustering. When pressed for an answer, he said, "You've going to give me sleepless nights, aren't you?" He also gave advice to do something illegal, caveating it with, "I can't advise you to do this, but you should...."

Given all the recent negative reviews on this site and elsewhere, it's a mystery to me why the firm keep him on.
