I came to uk in 2000 to claim asylum seeker for political reasons, but Home office refused twice to have a state in UK. I was accommodated and received voucher from Nass Home home. at the end Home office suspended all my benefit and asked me to leave immediately uk. I cried, I was alone, no kids or partner it was hard to survive. one day, my friend linked me to a friend to Canada, I decided to travel from there to claim asylum. my Cousin in Paris send me a a travel document . I bought a ticket to fly to Canada. at the airport immigration cash me, because it was not my ID. I stay in the prison for 3 weeks , then I re applying for asylum seeker. I lie to the new solicitor, buy changing my name and my country . when i went to the Home office give my finger print, my initial name appear on the scream since that day i run away. Home office stop to give me benefit, and no accommodation. i stay illegal from 2002 to 2009 . I manage to buy fake ID, found a job, and rent my flat or room, still 2009. one day i received to my new address a letter from HO to report to the police to sign every week. i was scared to go there, in case of the will put me in the detention prison, then deported me. I went to see my Gp to because of a depression . I stay like that to 2014. I went to see another solicitor. he wrote to the Ho. the HO give a conclusion of my file, by relating what I did from 2000 to 2014. the solicitors said to me there is nothing he can do not. better to continue to stay like that , work and save money, to wait know 20 years to apply 20 years long residence , applying on the basis of private life in the uk .
on the 20 July 2020, I authorise SUNRISE SOLICITORS , take over my case. according on my file, and documentation, the means process was to prove with documents that I was living in the Uk from 2000 to 2020. I pay all my fee the same day, £2400.00 in advance. Marriam Sohail was the one in relation with my matter, include the Zita Mezei Sebestyen, who was more active, plus the team of Sunrise solicitors.
I was using national insurance for someone else,, but HM revenue & Customs confirm to me that the only hold a Temporary one for me. i have to wait from December 2020 to February 2021 again to found that out, because Sunrise was looking for Tax years from 2000 to 2020.
I gave Evidence of Private and family in the Uk such as
Medical record from my Gp,
letter from immigration asylum seeker
bank statement
payslip
hopital letters
letter of employment
bills
other letters
church letter
life insurance letters
Hm revenue letters
p60, p45,
pension letter

11 March 2021 we starting to submit my application to the Home Office I Paid £1052.20 for the application form,
£1.560 I payed for Immigration health surcharge

09 April 2021 I was booked for the Biometrics , scanned fingers print and photograhs . this was free of charges

on the 23 December 2021, I received a letter from Sunrise via email and telephone call from Marriam to inform me that,

I HAVE BEEN GRANTED A PERIOD OF 30 MONTHS LIMITED LEAVE TO REMAIN ON THE TEN YEAR PRIVATE LIFE ROUTE UNDER PARAGRAPH 276BE OF IMMIGRATION .

I was soo happy, and started crying. 21 years illegal in the uk.

My only hope was that I was working, and save money to finalize my stay in Uk.

Don't waste your time and money with these folks. You're better off representing yourself. After instructing them you'd lose your will to live, with their flimsy, incompetent and unprofessional "representation", it's disgraceful.
This is a legitimate review having used the service of Sunrise Solicitors personally, and now representing myself.

I first contacted Sunrise Solicitors on behalf of my mum. She was a British Protected Person (with the BPP passport) and wanted to register as a British Citizen. I explained the entire situation and my mum's history in the initial email and asked for an appointment. We had the first consultation with Arshad and he was very knowledgable. The only thing is regarding my mum's situation is that very few people are clear about what the BPP status actually is at the moment. Most Commonwealth citizens status are akin to the Windrush generation status. The Home Office itself has published conflicting guidance on it - basically what happens for one BPP is not usually the same for another BPP. As it is an old form of nationality from the post-colonial times, fewer people in the Home Office actually know what it is and what rights you receive while holding that status (experienced this at the airport). Arshad knew this and warned us of the issues and did agree we should apply under section 4b. I had suggested this in my email as well as I had seen this online. He then delegated the case to Alina who was very helpful.

It helped that my mum had already prepared most of the application in rough ahead of the appointment, Alina then used this to do the application so that really saved time for us. Alina then prepared the introduction letter which we carefully reviewed, very impressed with the letter which was very well laid out and very clear. The application was sent off in late April and we were requested to do the biometrics in mid-July. We were extremely grateful that the application was approved in late August.

In our case, I can definitely recommend Sunrise Solicitors, particularly Alina. I think that when coming to any firm, people have to keep in mind that the solicitors are all human with a large number of cases. We were happy to call and email the solicitor for updates, at least twice a month and sometimes even reception can help with the query. The people who work in this firm deal with sensitive and complicated cases, so you have to work with them to track your application. We are extremely grateful to the firm for all services provided and thankful to have met them.
